I initially made contact with Kailey via email and she replied promptly and seemed friendly. When we spoke on the phone again she was friendly. I made an appointment with a few hours prior notice; she accepted and asked me to confirm half hour prior to arriving. I confirmed as requested and she said that she was at her incall location. I arrived and then no answer. I stayed another half hour and still no answer.

For out-of-town boys do not waste your time.

Talk about being at the wrong door! Recently, I went to a place, walked right in as instructed, and encountered 2 ladies inside. I said ___? and was told no one by that name there. Chuckles all around. Seemed like the right place as they were not bad looking. Went up one floor and there were 2 guys inside. Said sorry and retreated quickly. Don't people not lock their doors anymore? In T.O.?

I'm going to take full responsibility for this one; it was totally my mistake.

Unless I'm badly mistaken, this episode took place the day before yesterday (that is, last Monday). On that day I was contacted exactly as blueseycool describes. We went through the progression of e-mails and phone calls just like he says (although I swear he called me one hour ahead of the appointment rather than a half-hour, but that's hardly a significant discrepancy).

What you don't know is that I had a migraine that day. Early on, I figured I'd just be tough and soldier through it, so I went ahead and made the appointment. As the day went on, though ... the migraine got worse, to the point where I started wondering if I could give a proper performance during our session. After he called ahead to let me know he was on the way, I took a heavy dose of Motrin to try and reduce the discomfort a little.

Well ... the Motrin knocked me out. I woke up about two hours later and realized what had happened. I wanted to call him back and let him know what was going on, but I'd gotten about a half-dozen phone calls that day, and since I hadn't paid close attention to his number when he'd called (that would be the migraine's interference) I couldn't be sure which number was his. And I've heard it's very bad etiquette for SPs to call hobbyists up and start leaving messages, or start saying things like, "Hi, this is Kailey the escort, I'm looking for the guy who I was supposed to see a couple of hours ago? Is he there, could you put him on Ma'am?"

Anyway ... I'm *reeeeallllly* sorry about this!!! Please don't give up on me blueseycool, this is the first time this has ever happened to me - and to the rest of you, the last time, I promise!!! (This goes for you too, Brap8!)

Blueseycool, write me, call me, whatever you want, but get back in touch with me - I'm very sorry and I really want to make it up to you, K? Special "make-up" rate for you if you give me another chance, promise!

Kailey, that's the kind of response that will serve you well in this community. Shit happens sometimes and while I don't get migraines, I know how debilitating they are. My guess is that you wouldn't have been able to "perform" without feeling terrible and it would have been a bad session for both of you.

Your offer to make it up will hopefully be taken!

I had a client knock on my door this morning that I didn't know was coming. He woke me up and had the pleasure of seeing my hair in my morning induced faux hawk, and jammies. I apparently didn't get his email letting me know the time of his arrival.

I invited him in anyway (he's a regular thankfully) and he laughed and declined. After I was up, showered and feeling better, I contacted him again, and we had our appointment later in the day. Thankfully he was flexible enough in his schedule to accomodate me, and willing to come back.

The point is Kailey, shit happens. We are people too, any client with any class will understand a decent explaination and not hold any grudges. I did email my client and let him know I was up and could see him if he was still available, and we could make our schedules jive. Email is an SP's best friend. Phone calls....never, unless invited to do so.

Shit happens, Ive had to cancel on ppl before, I have always tried to give as much notice as possible, but sometimes its not always possible. But I always apologize as soon as i can and try and make it up to them.
In this business especially, sometimes things come up that are unaviodable and things change and you cant really explain to ppl in your personal life that you have an appointment!!!

In any case....Kailey, you showed alot of class by coming on here and apologizing and offering to make it up to him!!! It will go along with in this business!

Kailey I think you handled yourself perfectly in this situation.

Like any business, there are unforseen circumstances that pop up out of no where. I spent a long time dealing with such things in my career (granted not in the Adult entertainment industry but I do think it translates). Appologize, move on, and when possible make it up to the one wronged, and in the end you generally come out ahead.
