"What goes around comes around" ISN'T KARMA
Kind of bugs me when people with little knowledge of a culture borrow that culture's terminology, especially terms at the core of their system of belief (i.e. Hindu/Vedic reincarnation) and completely simplify and belittle it.
Svend, if what you mean is "Do you believe in an earthly or heavenly justice?" or something like that, say it.
I also REALLY hate the term "SCHMOZZLE", which isn't even a real Yiddish word.

Anyway, to answer your question, I really wish that the evil receive some sort of cosmic punishment, but other than their own concience there is no such thing IMO. See Woody Allen's masterpiece "Crimes and Misdemeanors", it's a great exploration of that question.

For me karma is not so much something to be believed. It is not a belief. It is an understanding or a way of looking at life.
So I understand that my actions will have consequence and that the consequence is often beyond my understanding. So to do good will not always have immediate good consequences as the karma works on the level of energy and I do not always tune in to this energy.
A practical example of this is the urge to give charity. Most people give with the expectation of a return,even if it slight. Even if this return is just that the person to whom the charity is given be grateful (this makes us feel good). There in lies the hook and the karma.
There is also nothing to do about this, just to notice it and certainly do not stop giving.
Most of my understanding of karma comes from Buddhist teachings. The Buddhists are good with that stuff. Karma though is not a Buddhist idea. It also appears in Christianity-as you sow, so shall you reap.
It also appears as a scientific law-equal & opposite reaction. It is one of the laws of thermodynamics I think.
It is the same law but it works differently on different levels of manifestation (i.e.. the physical, the spiritual etc.)

If by Karma you mean that if you are good then good things will happen to you and if you are bad then bad things will happen to you. I don't believe in it. This is just some stupid fairy tale people tell themselves to make themselves feel better (e.g. "don't worry he'll get what he deserves." etc)
Hell yes... here's an example... an old supervisor of mine was really getting on my nerves, he never gave me the respect or appreciation for anything I did and when I get compliments from clients, he'd never relay them to me nor would he congratulate me for them.
I was working at this job for nearly 6 months, and in that time, I got to know the clients, staff, coworkers, etc. on a first name basis, while he still had yet to know any one of them in the whole year he was there. So methinks he got a little jealous and threatened by me.
Anyway, during my latter weeks at the job, he basically accosted me and banned me from working in the area again, for what reason? I have no idea. So needless to say, I was pissed off and wanted bad things to happen to him. A week later, I find out his car was stolen! HA! That's Karma for ya!

IMO, the popular "concept" of karma is dragged out by someone who feels they've been wronged & are powerless to do anything about it. The main benefit is to make themselves feel better by assuming that some unknown cosmic force will take their revenge for them.
Does karma actually exist? I say no.
