I can't stand ketchup, plus its full of fructose. My daughter on the other hand loves it and its her only ingredient in any hamburger she orders LOL But I am for supporting our economy here in Canada. (The best country to live in)

FWIW, the link led to the post in which one of the reasons he liked French's ketchup is because iy does not use high fructose corn syrup.

I've boycotted Heinz since the abandoned Canadian production. Nice to see French's picking up the market Warren Buffet's MBA/s left behind.

Ontario tomatoes are outstanding too.

From the article:

Chatham-Kent-Essex MPP Rick Nicholls doesn't want to see a petition calling for French's ketchup to be exclusively served at Queen's Park spiral into a boycott against Heinz products.

“My biggest concern is I don't want it to get to the point where people start boycotting Heinz products, because that will hurt the economy of Leamington, not help it,” the Progressive Conservative MPP told The Chatham Daily News Friday.

My Boss use to pour ketchup on his pizza gross

Sometimes use BBQ sauce instead of ketchup , but I don't mind a little on my fries.

All comes down to essentially being a sugar addiction...1 teaspoon of sugar per one tablespoon of ketchup

I plan on trying out the French brand when shopping for ketchup next time.

Due to the amount of sugar in it i have reduced my consumption of late.

As a kid I used to like peanut butter and ketchup sandwiches.

Other things I used to or still put ketchup on:

* Kraft dinner when partaking in a bowl.
* Eggs
* Fries (though I prefer mayo as a dip)
* Grilled cheese
* Hamburger/hotdog/sausage (I prefer BBQ sauce)
* Brown beans
* Lemon meringue pie
* Ice cream

On the road with Willy
If they had used our peaches in government institutions, military, prisons, schools, we would never have lost the last fruit cannery in Canada about 10 years ago.
I know a few farmers that almost lost their operations because of the sudden closing.
One is doing very well since he let his farm go to subdivision.
Enjoy your Chinese peaches.:biggrin1:

Where can I buy this French's ketchup?
I read that you can order it on-line from Walmart Canada and have it shipped free to the Walmart store or to your nearest post office or Shoppers Drug Mart . I couldn't find it in my grocery stores but another guy said he found it at Zehrs .

I'm no SJW but I avoid Kraft and Heinz products. So French's and also Clark Beans (which are out of Quebec I believe)
