i am a bit concerned that some people think it's not staged lol
It's staged and I'm not really sure what the goal of this video is aside from promoting these but it's kinda cynical to believe any act of kindness would be staged, or isn't real. I've given 5$, 10$ and 20$ bills to homeless people before.. This video is corny but I think more people should benefit from being kinder and offering generosity
Giving money to drug addicts (aka homeless) is also cynical as they spend it on drugs. Why don't you give money to a cashier at a grocery store or even do unspeakable and lower your rates by $10 or $20. Why society leeches deserve your "kindness" but hard working men/women don't? I never give money to drug-addicts (aka homeless), because i already pay almost 50% in tax for government to give them food, drugs, and help, while i cannot even get a family doctor without jumping through hoops.
Look, it's your money, so you're free to do whatever you want with that, but i find it interesting how it works sometimes.
That's not what I said at all?? I tip everyone very well and I always help people around me, my point was that it's rewarding to be a generous person in general and not ask for anything in return. Why the hell are you assuming I'm just being generous to homeless people and nobody else? You sure assumed a lot about me.. You've got some nerve to talk to me that way. Also people aren't necessarily homeless because they are drug addicts, and even drug addicts deserve kindness and care.
Honestly talking bringing up my rates and telling me to lower them is really inappropriate in this conversation. I'm not doing charity work by being a SP, even if I'm known to be very nice to my clients. However I'm free to use money I make in various ways to help people around me sometimes, even people I don't know, even if I don't know what they are going to do with the money.
Fotzafonz why so bitter? I have too much passive income, the CRA takes a pound of flesh closest to my ass. I'd rather give that money to someone in need than to some cold-hearted bureaucrat.

Not bitter, just realistic. If an average man try to approach to women like that he will be called a creep. So, i don't think this video is a good example. The only reason these girls are laughing, smiling and have a good reaction is because it's staged.

Yeah, i wasn't born yesterday to know most SP don't file taxes. I was around when COVID happened and most complained that they were not eligible for CERB. Also, if i were SP i wouldn't file taxes as well. Why would i give 50% of my hard earned income to this government?

WTF does this even mean? Whether or not I pay taxes has nothing to do with how kind I decide to be. Also kindness isn't necessarily about money, it often isn't. You could bring soup to a friend who's sick or help someone move.. You can listen to someone when they need to talk. You could offer someone you like something handmade.. Most sps do file taxes, because otherwise they couldn't get credit anywhere. Maybe they don't declare all their cash but if they ever want it in a bank or to invest it or literally anything that has a financial paper trail in this country they need to have some income. Literally the only money getting taxed near 50% is the income OVER around $220K (not the whole amount). Most people doing well for themselves don't care that they have to pay some taxes.

But you need to feel good about yourself, i undestand. I am more concenrend that kids in schools don't have AC during May/June, but my taxes instead go to drugs for drug addicts...
