Canada may not recognize Kosovo's independence. The government is "considering" what to do. They'd be happier if the UN recognized it first.

They're worried it would set a precedent for Quebec.

There probably will be another war in the Balklans.

If the Serbs do not protect themselves, with some Russian help, the Serb minority in Kosovo might suffer some form of ethnic cleansing.
