Police have dropped the hammer on a number of speeders and stunt drivers recently in the GTA. Sounds like there may have been some undercover work involved to catch these punks before someone is killed. 62 cars impounded,tears in Woodbridge I assume.

Good on them, you could hear them all through the city at night.
A group of guys racing on a blocked off industrial road at 3 am are clearly the cause of the carnage on our roads lol

If that was the only place and accidents didn’t happen; maybe I would agree.
I could care less if some POS wants to run himself off the road at 3:00 AM. It’s those idiots weaving in between traffic on the 400 series highways that need to be dealt with. The penalties and fines are being increased as of July 1 , but they're still not severe enough IMHO.
I guess no one here is old enough to remember drag racing on Commissioner St, or Steeles Ave west from Keele St, or Bathurst St north from Hwy 7 in the 1960's.

those "racers" who race on blocked off industrial roads most likely do it anywhere...401, 400 etc etc...
That's probably how those guys drive when they aren't in street races. Its almost always guys in expensive cars.
I'll choose a racer in an expensive car in front of me in traffic over an old lady in an old corolla any day of the week. A racer will not make me late. A goddamn lady will be so slow that she will create a jam and then people will start passing her unsafely. These fucking ladies need to be put on TTC and we need fines for slow speeds..
