Ladies....what would you like for Christmas?

It is getting close to Christmas and I am having a hard time deciding on what to get for my love of my life. We have been together for many, many years. At the beginning, times were tough and gifts were more like hugs and kisses on Christmas morning. Over time, our financial situation has improved and I have been getting her nicer items for birthdays, Christmas and just plain everyday gifts. We still hug and kiss too!

Ladies, I know some of you have wonderful tastes. If you can give me some ideas of the perfect gifts, that will be great. What would make you go "wow"? What will make you want to smile and cry at the same time? What will make you whisper in my ears "I love it and yes, I still love you after xx years"?

Gentlemen, your suggestions will be appreciated too!

I cannot believe how time flies. We have to stop and smell the roses along the way.

When she asks why this type of dress. Give her the envelope with the tickets for a cruise to Hawaii. Also just let her know you'd like to renew your vows on the beach at sunset.

Back when my SO and I started out I realized that her family was pretty chitzy with the gift giving. Mine liked to do the whole stocking stuffer/multi-gift thing. On our first Xmas morning living together I made sure that she had a whole bunch of little gifts all individually wrapped and of stuff I knew she would like as well as a few surprises.
Spending money on something big is great......but putting forth a lot of effort is always greater....
Love the Mods idea too if you can afford that one.
Also as an altertative consider a pamper day....spa, dinner, dancing and a nice hotel room for the night.
I believe the Windsor Arms offers a spa package for two with one night stay as an example.
As always time spent is the best present.

Great idea from Butler. And the Windsor arms is a great place and great neighborhood.

Another great gift idea is anything from Swarovski (stores in GTA). Every time I have given Swarovski it has been a winner. Most women know the brand so as soon as they see the blue box the adrenaline starts flowing. Good for you making this a big day for a great gal.

Thanks for the great ideas everyone. I have been thinking too and I am going to do a 12 days of Christmas theme this year. I think it will be fun for the both of us! The problem now is deciding on the 12 gifts and finding/buying them, then hiding them so she will not find them........

The gifts I am going to include, and thank you again, are:

Day 1-a dozen roses
Day2-spa day, I will go with her too, because she always say I should spent a day with her in a spa, so I will go and let some hairy guy touch me.
Day 3-I will make her a great dinner, no prepared or frozen dinners.
Day 4-few small pieces of silver jewellery.


Day 12-tickets for a trip to some sun destination. I would like to renew our vows in the resort. Then the final gift, after the ceremony in the resort, will be the Tiffany ring.

I still need to fill in the other days, so ideas are greatly appreciated!

Ladies, besides Tiffany's, are there any other brands that tickle your fancy? I looked into Winston's, Faberge, Cartier and Birks.
