Also, most NV brothels are outside of the main cities, so you will need some form of transportation should you head down that path. I have visited one many many moons ago outside of Reno.

I've watched the Showtime/HBO show "Cathouse" about one of those Nevada brothels. Those prices are insane and they get a lot of visitors. Those guys would actually save a lot of money by just getting a return flight to Montreal. But I guess they're paying for the "experience". Oh well. P.T. Barnum knew this concept well.

The prices are insanely expensive yes...but at the end of the day the girl doesn't get nearly as much
I know for a fact 50% of what they make goes to the house...but then they still need to pay for their room, some meals, the supplies (condoms, lube etc),the weekly health check,if they receive a gift from a client that is over 75$ of value they need to give the house a % ( can't remember how much) of the value of the gift...so at the end of the day they don't make nearly as much as people would think

Things have quite possibly changed since I found myself in that neck of the woods...and perhaps outside Reno is a smaller market than outside LV, but I remember the prices being very very reasonable, I think about 100 for a hh, but this was was quite possibly 20 years ago...

It's important to remember "reality tv" is often far from reality, just cuz it's on TV doesn't mean it's true. LOL The Bigger Brothels like the Bunny ranch have huge overhead, thus the higher split but the women are treated well and can earn well thanks to the money the house puts into marketing and promotion. It's true that they are on the outskirts but call around some offer "shuttle service" from the strip to their location, at a reasonable cost or depending on the establishment and how much you intend to spend the transportation fee is waved. Sure, and given the environment, the women can also benefit from co-counselling and shared financial management advice/direction. This is like the other thread where Catherine St. Claire explains "good" brothel rationale and benefits to the women. I've heard other things, first-hand, about some of the Reality TV produced in Canada, too. But, still, the often-quoted price on that show of ~$1500 per 1-hr vanilla session is insane to me, the one who pays, regardless of distribution afterwards.

Las Vegas is in Clarke county where its actually illegal. Thats why all the brothels are so ar away. The casinoes are in charge there. They don't let the cops interfere on the property unless they call them. If there are any sting ops its for the street action in the bad parts of town.

Took in a few casinos wearing my best suit and sitting in a bar a la Dustin Hoffman in "Rainman" was approached by mid-twenties, 5'5", 125 lbs, brunette by the name of Collette.
