Las Vegas experiences anyone?

Hello Terbites, I hate to be using the board as a personal Q&A service, especially since I have been so damn busy at work (which is a good thing I guess) that I haven't been on the board much over the past month and I cannot contribute a lot- but I just cannot resist asking the latent pool of experts here about Las Vegas. I tried to do a thread search and the DB won't accept 'Las' in the search string, so it has not been that useful. So....

I am going to Las Vegas for the first time in my life for a week soon, and will be going with my daughter and her boyfriend, which leaves me quite a bit of free time when they are off doing their thing (don't take that the wrong way either- she's an angel (father's blindness)).

Anybody got any insight into the 'scene' there? SC, famous ranches, or otherwise. Obviously I will do an Internet search too, but just wondering- I mean you hear about Vegas a lot, but I have never been so I wonder what is true or what is hype. Anything would be helpful and might help someone else too. thanks.

I`ve been to Vegas several times.

There are 2 legal brothels located an hour away in Pahrump, NV. You will need to drive through the desert:

Unless you are a VERY good negotiator, you can expect to pay very high rates, at least 2-3X what you`d pay in TO or elsewhere.

As for SCs, Vegas SCs are generally pretty good; not as high mileage as CDN SCs, but still good mileage to be had.

My recommendation would be to avoid hobbying in Vegas due to the outrageous prices, but by all means check out the SCs and check out the scantily clad cocktail waitresses in the casinos (something that seems to be only in the USA).

My 2 cents

The above are great postings to review. I have travelled to Vegas many times and essentially, if you don't go to a ranch, don't bother. You will need about US$600 for cab to and from ranch and money for a good time.

Anything else is waste. Vegas is built on the principal there is one born every minute. There are tons of horror stories about hooker rip offs, low mileage SC. Remember, everyone is there for "4 days" so there is no need to build repeat business through exceptional service.

The most fun I have had is with cocktail waiteresses.....high roller gambling and drinking always gets a a conversation started.

The legal brothels, while safe and secure and fun, are indeed pricey. If you are going to visit one of them, it may be worth your while if you have the time to go out to the Bunny Ranch which is just outside Carson City. Any "celebs" (porn stars, sometimes BIG names) who are in town usually head out there.

The Chicken Ranch will pick you up at your hotel and include it in the fee for whatever you do out there.

Anyone on the board can easily conclude that I am a tit man, a BIG tit man. Two years ago when I was heading to Vegas for a convention I booked ahead to see Kayla Kleevage. While you can say she is in the "Super titter" category, I have to say it was likely the best time I ever had with a pro. Drinks and conversation, then unrushed sweaty gooey balls to the wall sex. Luckily featuring MSOG because I took all of a minute and a half for the first one.

She is not for everyone, with huge basketball sized string implants, but geezus she worked for me.

Otherwise every single street corner has those free publicatrions with nothing but escort and SC info.

You can get a beautiful gir for about $200 plus a tip. I had a cab driver call a service for me and arrange a girl to meet me in the lobby of my hotel. Note:If its late and you are staying at one of the better hotels the girls can't get up to your room without a room key. The deal is pretty simple. If you like what you see go for it otherwise you can walk away - no hassles. I used the service two nights. First night I got an hour for $200 and the second it was pretty much get right down to business and then she left quickly - after a little more than 1/2 an hour. In either case time was not discussed. The first girl was a petite blond of maybe 5 feet tall and as sweet as they come. Once we started she was high energy and creative. I can't give you too many details because in both cases the cab driver insisted that he call - I guess this is how they ensure their cut. A generous tip to the cab driver and a tip to the girl and the rest they say is history.

Forget about the ranches etc. I haven't been but I have a couple of buddies that made the trip and they were less than pleased considering how much they paid. There is plenty of action around the strip. Like most things in Vegas, cab drivers are your best resource for info on girls, clubs, dining and shows.

I've been to Crazy Horse Too on Industrial Rd at Sahara. Busy club, attractive girls, nice surroundings but more expensive than here. You can have individual dances on the floor but the VIP offers more. Half hr - $200, one hr - $400. You toke the doorman ($10-20) to the VIP who will show you to a table and hopefully look the other way. Mileage approximates the Toronto average. My $200 dancer worked hard to leave me smiling.

Las Vegas also has sex clubs where people can go and have sex while other people watch. These include the Red Rooster and Green Door, you can Google them. I have been to some of them. Some times or rooms may be couples only, but single guys get decent access. Green Door is open from about noon seven days a week. I wish they had something like it in GTA. I don't know what the chances of a single guy hooking up would be but if you take a girl, or like to watch, you can have a good time.

eye candy in vegas strip clubs is second to none. the best are sapphires and spearmint rhino. sapphires is more of a party club with hundreds of girls on a weekend night. cover is $30 US, drinks are expensive, dances are expensive, etc. so don't go if you don't have the bling.

they just spent something like millions to fix up sapphires so that gives you some idea on what you're getting into. compare back to clubs like cb and mds who can't even spend some cash to fix their unsanitary washrooms.

for a more frugal clubber, go to cheetahs. it's more comparable talent and size wise to a club like cb. cover is only $10.

vegas is the best place on earth. can't wait to go back.

Last I was in Vegas there was a pricing war going on between the SC, so they were recuiting cabbies to bring people there. A cabbie saw me walking, and basically gave me a free lift AND cash for cover to Sapphires... cause apparently they were paying HIM more to get me there. So I literally got in for free... they figure I'll spend more money once inside, but at least I could a free lookaround in case it's not my thing.

If you're looking for a big, fun club, although only topless, go to Sapphires... you'll feel safe, and they have some good looking girls. If you're looking for full nude, but really, it's the same as here, go to Deja Vu.

I didn't go to any of the brothels, but if you're looking for LEGAL sex, those are the places to go. Apparently the AIDs epidemic is really bad with the street walkers on the Las Vegas strip. And those call places are REALLY hit and miss. Since prostitution is QUITE illegal in Las Vegas (don't let people tell you otherwise... the law saying prostitution in Nevada is legal only applies to counties with certain population limits... which Vegas has exceeded for at least 20 years now), these girls will take your money and walk out quite often, and there's nothing you can do since it's illegal. AVOID the guys on the street handing out thoses cards. It's garbage.

I won't be going for another week, but from reading a lot of the advice so far and surfing the links, I am kind of surprised how costly things seem. If you look at those 'Ranch' websites in the desert, they will not even quote a price, says something stupid like 'our dancers are independent contractors, all menu prices decided between you and your girl in the room.' Huh? thought the point of it being legal is you can advertise prices, I mean you click a banner ad on terb and go to a SP who will give you a rate, but they 'don't know- cannot give an estimate- cannot even post guidelines? Like what is up with that con? I bet after you finish, the percentage that is kicked backed to the house is just between the girl and them too right? If that doesn't sound like a rip-off, well then you get the 'free limo' from your hotel to ranch, but the driver needs a tip it says in the fineprint- isn't that kind of the same thing as costing something? I bet they will rush you right back to Vegas if you decide you aren't paying that much too. As far as the SCs and booze, that is big in the States, the liquor laws make some SCs 'dry'. I remeber in michigan going to 'dry' club- it was like a frat house all these idiot college kids drinking pepsi. Anyway, I will definitely comeback with my view of things and post it.

A few comments:

1) For the most part, "clip joints" have all but disappeared, but once in a while one will pop up and survive for a few months. I don't know of any operating now, but beware of any cabbie that says they can take you to a club where you can have sex in the back in the champagne room for $$$. You'll wind up being thrown out of the place by a couple huge bouncers, several $$$ poorer, with no recourse.

2) I'd avoid the brothels, they're way overpriced. You'll pay twice as much for half as much time for someone half as good looking as Sinful Selina. And there will be twice as many rules. Complete waste of time and money.

3) Your best bet if you must partake is to schedule something in advance with a well-reviewed indy. There are plenty of reviews on TER.

4) For strip clubs, you can't go wrong with Olympic Garden and Crazy Horse Too. Cheetahs is good too, especially during the day, with more of a local crowd. I've also been openly propositioned more times at Cheetahs than any other strip club. I haven't been back to Treasures since they reopened, and I haven't been to Sapphire or Jaguars in a long time.

5) I like the hunt, so personally I go for trying for takeout at the strip clubs, or casino bars. Cheetahs and Olympic Garden are best for takeout, and I have totally struck out at Crazy Horse Too, even though I have heard of others being successful. Picking up a casino bar girl usually requires a lot of negotiation, so I only do that if I strike out in the SCs.

Oh yeah, the Palomino in North Las Vegas is fully nude and does serve alcohol. It's the only club that does, it was grandfathered in when the laws were changed many years ago. I haven't been there in years, so I don't have any info to share.

Olympic Garden

the O.G. is the best of the SC IMHO and takeout is pretty easily found. The dancers there are all in the 8 - 10 range, plus you get most of the porn stars who live in Vegas (there are a lot of them) go to work there when they are home. A couple of hours with Logan La Brent come to mind........

For the love of God, do not go to the Palomino. It sucks. Well to be fair, we arrived there at like 2:30 in the morning, but it was DEAD. And not many lookers among the girls.

Also, it is in the middle of ASS nowhere, and they will not call you a cab, only the car service they use... scam. 30 bucks to get in even if it is dead.

If you want a fairly cheap option for a SC, try Girls of Glitter Gulch on Freemont street. Free to get in, but two drink minimum (costs 20 bucks I think)

Lots of decent looking girls, all will grind in the VIP, but NOT private at all, and there will be no taking mr happy out.

Vegas is a total rip off for SCs and SPs.

Tons of eye candy, especially at somewhere like Sapphire, but very, very poor value mileage, if you find any. Cheetah's is a good bet, but nothing you're used to. Toronto is 'miles' better.

I would save the money for buying drinks for the groups of girls in hotel bars and clubs, and having fun trying to chat up some hot babe - far better use of funds, and loads more fun. Rio is good and Bellagio, and plenty of others.

Of course, YMMV and you may get nowhere, but after a few drinks you won't care.

Just make sure it's not a hooker you're chatting up, unless that's what you want!
