And perhaps a discreet redistribution of cash. They added plumbing: shower, sink. You need permits for that.
And the I'm betting any change of capacity needs Bodyrub Inspectors' (bylaws I guess) approval.
Turns out it is related to other issues and IMHO bad instructions from the Boss. Its notoriously difficult to get people to work in these industries and then when you do get women willing to work, they're also notoriously unreliable.
If women wanted to work these jobs they wouldnt have to be paid hundreds of dollars an hour and be forced to do it.
unfortunately, life happens. Things come up. People move on. Some people never want to be in the industry in the first place (probably most people). Its a difficult undustry to keep people in and the women can sometimes be incredibly unreliable.
I spent enough time around strippers and massage girls to know a lot of them CANT hold down regular jobs and they can do stuff like not show up for a shift and still be employed because its designed to accomodate flakes and theres literally nothing the business can do about it. If she shows up great! If she doesnt theyre short staffed and they make less money. A lot of these places are designed for people to just showing up to work when they feel like it. Smart ones are consistent but flakes just do it when they feel like it.
It kind of sounds like something might have been going on, like a personal crisis/issue. It could have been anything.
People quit too. I wouldnt trash the whole place. A lot of stuff is out of their control and a lot of those women have families and kids. They could have to drop a shift because an emergency came up. They could have difficulty contacting the MA and getting clarification.
Usually mom's are more reliable but they have the issue where they are at the mercy of anything that happens to their kids. They're the ones that have to take the day off to deal with a sick kid or whatever.
I used to work the counter at a spa and people do stupid stuff like lock themselves out of the house or lose their keys and no one can go and get them because everyone is busy. Sometimes people end up in the hospital. They think they're coming in and things take a turn for the worst.
I've had to go and get people and I had phones ringing, clients waiting, appointments coming in and this one woman locked herself out of her house and locked her keys and purse inside. She had her phone to text all of her friends but when I was calling to figure out where she was and tell her I was coming to get her she suddenly didn't have her phone attached to her hip and she was on her way without telling anyone. I'm standing in her parking lot waiting for her. I'm at her house while she's casually strolling into the spa an hour late. There's no communication or theres communication with the wrong people.
She didnt tell me or the boss anything. She texted her girlfriend who was busy working
Its was a clusterf*ck.
Working with the public is the worst but sometimes managing these people is even worse lol
maybe they received a strong talking to from the by law inspector or building inspector and had to cut back on rooms available.I was at LV about 4 weeks ago and I noticed that there was only 1 table in the spa. They sat me in the room as soon as you enter the hallway to your left for about 10 minutes, no table in there. and then sent me to the room on the right. Me being a little nosey I saw that there was an opening in that room. I peeked and it was the room that was at the end of the hallway( the really nice one) but with no table in there either. They have 2 girls on the schedule but I honestly think there is only one working. I have tried booking Scarlett for weeks on the day she works ( call 9:30 am to book evening and she is booked solid) or the day before( and they say to call early next morning to make the appointment).
The 3rd room they built was buitl without permission. They had to remove itmaybe they received a strong talking to from the by law inspector or building inspector and had to cut back on rooms available.
They went from 2 ladies to one. It's too bad that this is happening. It was a great place and they were nice.maybe they received a strong talking to from the by law inspector or building inspector and had to cut back on rooms available.
More Parking now? lolThe 3rd room they built was buitl without permission. They had to remove it
Havent seen Sydney on the schedule for weeksSydney was pretty chill and delivered a very nice release
I've missed her! She was so nice and funnyHavent seen Sydney on the schedule for weeks
Geez, that really sucks. Never thought subdividing a room would cause that much of a ruckus. They din't get the appropriate building permits from Oshawa before adding the 3rd room. That's why it was shut down for a while. I miss Lana being there
I agree 100%. I have had a few calls like that the last few monthsThis past Thursday I called to make an appointment for Saturday. Was told they only make appointments one day in advance. Called the next day, to make the appointment with a certain girl, and the girl on the desk seemed confused, and told me to call the day I want the appointment for. It seemed like they didn't even know who was supposed to be working even one day before. I know they are only using one room at lavilla now, but people know that is the case, and they should have only the girl who is actually going to be there on the schedule, instead of telling people the other is fully booked, when that girl isn't even going to be in. Its misleading, and will lose them customers. Too bad, i really like lavilla, but it has gone downhill in a hurry.
