Another theory on evolution says that humanity is evolving mentally though "memes". Memes are thoughts or thought fragments. By adopting certain memes, cultures put themselves at a survival advantage or disadvantage. For example, a culture that subscribes to blowing themselves up are at a survival disadvantage.
