Nothing - he's gutless. ... Of course, I couldn't read it if he did. ;)

Well, Lalime may be good enough to take the Sens places in the playoffs - he *did* take them to within a few minutes of the Finals last year - that's gotta count for something.
Certainly, his confidence is being tested, if by nothing else, by the fan and media questioning of his abilities. It's not a good situation.
Do you go to Prusek? A stone cold rook? ... Trade for ... Kolzig? Khabibulin?? ... Cujo??? .... It'll be interesting to see what happens.

Go Leafs Go

The Sens used to beat us all the time in the regular season but we used to get them when it really counted in the playoffs. Now they're getting their shit ruined by us in the regular season too!

I'm concerned about Pansy's welfare - honestly, after a choke-loss like that one, he might just off himself.

That Puppet Bear Gone Bad
Hey Ranger - Just heard that unofficially the Flyers have acquired Sean Burke in return for Mike Comrie.
Should us Leaf fans be worried because I just felt my balls go into my stomach.
We're dealing with at least 5 good teams in this division so the playoffs are NOT going to go easy. It's going to be one hell of a post-season!

GO LEAFS GO!

Yeah, I heard that myself.
Burke's the real deal - a goalie who's dependable, and can carry a team a long way.
But, okay, the Flyers haven't had *great* goaltending in the playoffs, but it seems like their scoring has been what's really let them down. I'm not losing any sleep over this deal, but it certainly makes them stronger. The Leafs should counter. I'm still hoping for Gonchar, assuming he gets healthy.
It is certainly going to be one hell of a post-season. At least one very good team is going to go out in the first round, and it *might* be the Leafs. :(

It's starting to look like it did in Alberta in the eighties, where you had the two strongest teams in Edmonton and Calgary fighting each other to play anyone for the cup. It was just too bad that they had to meet before the finals. I think for some of the players that series WAS their Stanley Cup.

Also, I hope that by us beating Ottawa in the regular season, it doesn't change things around in the playoffs too! Once Toronto was eliminated, I never had a problem cheering for other Canadian teams to win, even Montreal. But, I have a difficult time supporting the Sens.

I heard that Washington (along with a few other teams) were interested in Rick Jackman. Maybe a trade could be done bw him and Gonchar. The Caps are just dumping salary anyways.

Burke to the Phillies. They were going to get someone, might as well be Burke.
I rather see Burke go to the Flyers, then Khabibulin, Joseph/Hasek or Kolzig.

Actually, I would have rather seen Kolzig go over Burke. Ollie's having an awful year. Burke scares me.
