I actually think the key to this game was Primeau dominated the play all around and Sundin was awful here.Plus Mccabe given up the puck was a nice benefit. Also the Flyers were hitting way more right out of the chute.

This is what point I was making. Hitchcock benefited by having the last line change and was able to get Primeau's line away from the checking line that had hampered them and shut them down in game 4.

Can we get back to debating the game please!
Hey, a thread -- like water -- finds its own level. But your take, and Peace's, on game five was bang-on. A year ago, Philly played strong games in Toronto during their series with the Leafs. I've been surprised with their road effort so far in this series. If the Flyers bring the same level of intensity on Tuesday, then line-matching may not matter. But I suspect Toronto will match that intensity.

Hey, I'll bet anytime! It's all in fun, and great for any series.
Mind you, your comments still don't wash. Toronto just out scored Philly 6-2 over GMs 3&4. For me to suggest a 2-1 or 3-0 Leaf win is not blatantly exagerated. You know that too.

Kathleen
Well your diisin my team after 2 away losses and now there coming home to Philly. It wouldnt hurt to be a little more humble sometimes.Flyers have been dominant in the Playoffs at home against the Leafs.Thats all.You have a nice night ,wish you well.

Because most of the other people have made predictions, but werent so blatantly exxagerated, and have tempered there opinions with reality and given the Flyers there proper respect as a good Hockey team. When people dont bet, they are just saying things they totally dont beleive. Thanks
Speaking of blatantly exaggerated I think your comments are exaggerated. Kathleen is pretty fair-minded for a Leafs fan ;), and has given a number of teams their due credit. I've seen much more fanatical Leafs fans making far more outrageous predictions on here.

Speaking of the pool it should be interesting to see the scores of some of the teams that are loaded with Leafs after this debacle.

McCabe -5 2SOG = -46
Leetch -4 = -40
Sundin -4 1SOG = -38
Belfour 6GA 12 saves= -36

Wow, that was a stinker. When the Leafs lose, they often lose big - Eddie loses focus, and the whole team goes to hell around him.
Bleach.
Oh, well, fortunately it's only one game, and I don't believe in anything like momentum in a seven game series.
Unfortunately, it does certainly look like this is a homer series, which favours Philly.
