Don't ask me why...

Cause I'm not even very much of a sports fan at all.... but I have always been a big fan of The Leafs. Maybe it's just something about having played hockey as kid and cheering for my hometown team. Then again even when I lived in Ottawa for 5 years I cheered The Leafs. I mean, come on, who in their right mind would ever be a Sens fan. lmao. Will they make the semi-finals... I think so. Will history repeat itself... they'll then like every year F**k it up. Yes. Will I cheer for them again next year? Yes. I don't know. Maybe they have us all brainwashed by some type of subliminal advertising somewhere. Or maybe I just like losers. lmao

Go Leafs Go.

Speedo that was meant to people who are supposed Leafs fans that are ragging on them. Not people that never liked the Leafs to begin with...Get in the game dude...lol
I know - just stirrin' the poo ;)

Actually, I loved them as a kid. Then when Harold Ballard tried to get Roger Neilson to wear a paper bag over his head, I slammed off the TV in disgust and vowed I would never cheer for them again. Funny, because usually that would wear off in a day or so, but not this time. Aside from the Leafs, I've always stood by my teams (after all, I cheer for the Detroit Tigers and Lions!!)

LOL -- Hey, I never thought I'd see the Red Wings win the cup, or U. of Michigan win a football championship, as they both did in '97...

The Leafs have played THREE more games than the Sens.

The Leafs problem is defense. If it weren't for Belfour...

Lafontaine's career ended much too soon. He was one of the few players worth the price of admission!

sad show Saturday night

The highlight of the Saturday night game was Mike Myers in the coaches corner.

The lowlight was Brian McCabe being listed as a defenseman on the roster. Anyone tell him that on defense, you have to clear guys out from in front of your own net? Granted that might mean actually having physical contact with your opponent, but COME ON!

Actually, only two as of tonight. Seems the Isles put an ass whipping on the Sens.
It's about time the Iles beat the Sens on the Iland. The last time they won a game there...Jacques Martin wasn't even the coach of the Sens.

The Sens did the same thing last year with a slow start, it didn't matter in the end.

LaFontaine was a class act all the way. I remember in 1983 hoping that he would drop to #4 in the draft, since he grew up in the area, but the Islanders claimed him at #3.
My beloved Red Wings had to 'settle' for a kid I'd never heard of named Steve Yzerman.

Did the wings win last night against Vancouver? No? Just wondering does that mean they officially suck yet? what is that 4 in a row? Things must be sad in "Hockeytown"
Nah -- when things look bleak, we can revel in the recent Cup victoires...
