EPIC fail..... wow. How do you blow a 4-1 lead halfway thru the third period?

A gag on the scale of Sergio Garcia dumping not 1... not 2... but 3 tee shots into the water this weekend to lose the TPC golf tournament to Tiger.

Aaaaackkk!

They're a level below the top teams, Reimer isn't a true number one.

I knew 4-1 was too good to last.
I honestly thought it was over, but my friend and my Aunt gave me a lecture on how there was plenty of time to catch up. Boy was I wrong.
Up 4-1 and then they lose it in OT? Sad. I felt bad for Reimer though.

I think it was a tactical error by Carlisle. There was a huge change in the way the Leafs played the last ten minutes which I felt must have been conveyed to the team by the coaching staff. Being a defence man, I wouldn't be surprised if he told them to play tight don't take any chances or get caught up ice. If they would have continued playing their game - using speed and forechecking in the Bruins zone they would probably be celebrating right now. Just my two cents!

You're right - their forechecking made the difference in the past couple of games. As they say, the best defence is offence.

Just turned on the weather network, there's a flood of tears in Toronto.

It wasn't Reimer's fault. If they had Luongo they wouldn't have even gotten to game 7. They just dumped the puck out and didn't aggressively forecheck. Turning point was about 20 seconds before Lucic scored - the Leaf forward had a chance to nail him in his own end, but didn't- instead Lucic broke free and carried up ice, scoring shortly afterwards. Leafs played great for 50 minutes.
