Sens are going in the wrong direction. I think they too many problems for this late in the season to be corrected. Tooo many glaring stats that do not bode well for them to go far :(

From the Maple Leafs' website:

The fans booed after Belfour skated too far out of the net, allowing Cory Stillman to find Richards, who scored into an open net at 18:12.

Antropov cut it to 4-2 early in the second period, but Andreychuk scored on a power play to make it 5-2 with 1:39 to go.

Lecavalier and Cibak scored in the final three minutes of the game.

The Maple Leafs, booed off the ice as the final buzzer sounded, have allowed 11 power play goals in their last five games.

Too funny .... hehehe ..... rack em up !

From the Ottawa Senator's Website:

Tuesday, March 23 - The Senators didn't get the start they were hoping for in the first of six straight road games, suffering a 4-2 loss (recap) to the Bruins in Boston. Despite goals from Martin Havlat and Jason Spezza, the Senators couldn't prevent pucks from going into their own net as Patrick Lalime was beaten four times on 36 shots. The Senators now return home where they will practice at the Corel Centre on Wednesday before continuing their road swing with games in Montreal on Thursday (game notes) and in Toronto Saturday (game notes). After tonight's loss the Senators remain in third place in the Northeast division with 93 points and a 39-22-9-6 record. The Bruins sit in first with 97 points and a 37-17-14-7 record while the Maple Leafs have 94 points and a 41-24-9-3 record and Montreal has 90 points and a 40-26-7-3 record.

I am SO looking forward to the end of the season so that we can get on with the REAL hockey. Listening to JP for half a season is starting to get on my nerves. I don't mind the other Ottawa fans, but this one is like nails on a chalk board!!!

If the stars align we [The Buds] can play our little brother in Ottawa, sweep them aside and rest up for the second round, to quote JP- 'hehehe'.

Come on mid April!

Kathleen,

Rack em means great post. Don't you ever listen to Jim Rome ?
Well alright there it is. We have found the source to all this idiocy...Jim Rome wannabe or what does he call you listeners? "clones" i think its a put down isnt it? Suggesting that the likes of Pansey are cookie cutter sports fans that dont have their own thoughts or ideas and just follow the "real" sports educated people...lol. Now THAT is funny. Thanks for the background Pansey. Rack that up baby!

You know what I hate about Jim Rome?

The long pauses between idiotic comments.

and the pitiful attempts at ebonics by him and his callers.

and the way he repeats things several times.

Wow Goob, that was dead on. Fortunately he's off the air in Toronto. I found him a bit like watching car wreck.

Kathleen: Don't do it...avaiod listening if you can. It would be like listening to Pansey live.

Jim Pansey - Not familair with him, sorry. But thanks for the explanation. ... What station / radio is he part of? .
He's on TEAM 1200 in Ottawa. You can catch the station on the internet but his syndicated show doesn't get streamlined.
I for one found him annoying, as others have pointed out, when he was on TEAM 1050 AM here in Toronto 2 yrs ago.

They brought him back on Mojo last year in the evenings, but fortunately the delayed version didn't work either.

Never heard of Jim Rome, and you call yourself a sports fan Kathleen ??? ... hehehe.

http://www.jimrome.com
click on Jim Rome

"Perhaps the most respected voice in the world of sports broadcasting, Jim Rome is the leading opinion-maker of his generation. As host of the nation’s premiere sports radio talk show, Rome is known for his aggressive, informed, rapid-fire dialogue.

Jim has established himself as the top choice of athletes and fans when it is time to know what is going on beyond the scoreboard.

Rome’s nationally syndicated radio program, The Jim Rome Show, a.k.a. The Jungle, airs on more than 185 radio stations each weekday and boasts more than two million listeners. "

Jim wants to talk to Tyson ? He calls him, he's there. Jordan, he's there. Bryant ? In a minute. Sosa ? Without a doubt ... etc.

He's the best known sports broadcaster in the world. The King of Smack. Da man.

Don't know him ? ... hehehe .... too funny !! If you can't smack, don't venture into the Jungle. You'll get eaten alive ... hehehe. Rack em up !

Rome doesn't give a crap who he offends. He asks hard questions of athletes, penetrating their P.R. cocoon. Dude breaks down the walls that money and the cult of the athlete have built around sports figures. He gets them to open up and be honest about their lives, their attitudes toward the game they play, their private lives, even their financial lives. Nothing is sacred in the Jungle.

Go on listening to your fawning, milky, effeminate, no cojones, it's just a job broadcasters in TO - "Mike my wife and I think Belfour played bad last night, something has to be done about it" .... hehehe. I hear one of them wears a bad toupe and he's gay ... hehehe ..... Rack em up !!! ...... ROFLMFAO !!
