I was talking to a lady the other day and she was trying to post an ad on Leo list and when it came to paying it was a little strange she said. You couldn’t just give your credit card and pay. You needed some leolist crypto card?? Was she doing something wrong??

This is correct. They've only accepted Litecoin as their form of payment for quite some time, more than 2 years because CC's fees was costing them too much money.

So they were getting scammed by the CC. I guess everyone associated with LL is getting scammed for the same Business practice.

customers dont really deal with it
you just browse and book like normal

leolist is just supply and demand
especially if youre in a smaller town
without it how else are you gonna find anyone

I’ve helped a few SPs get their LeoList ads going so I know the process.

It’s not that hard once you get the steps. Log into LeoList and go to your Gift Card page. Hit Cryptocurrency then Litecoin and copy the address or show the QR.

Then buy some Litecoin. Easy way is Paybis with a card — pick Litecoin, choose external wallet, paste the LeoList address, and pay. Or use a Canadian exchange like Netcoins with Interac, buy LTC, then withdraw it to that same address. Cash works too if you find a Localcoin ATM and scan the QR.

With the exchange from Litcoin to euros then to Canadian it can cost ladies up to 100 each day they post.

Yeah for GTA it’s roughly 15 CAD per ad after all the exchange rates and fees. Bumps are the same. Verified accounts with photo checks get it a bit cheaper but I still ballpark 15.

It depends on how you pay — EMT, cash, or whatever service you use. You lose a little on the conversion to LTC plus their fees, then another small difference when you send it to LeoList. So not exactly 15.

First ad might make you buy a few bumps. Haven’t touched it in a few months so not sure if anything changed, better check yourself.

You’re right about the bumps, they force you to push ads out. It’s not really cheaper for guys though. Non-metro spots outside GTA or Vancouver are way cheaper.
