We need many more moderate Muslim groups to do the same. And more. Then need to declare a Fatwa on the assholes killing in the name of Islam.

Will any Muslims actually join the war against ISIS and Al Queda. I mean fight in the armed forces, or is it just verbal support.

Why should they? Did all Christians issue an apology whenever the kkk or IRA or Anders brevik commit their crimes? I sure as hell didn't and neither did I feel a need to - extremists are extremists.

Good grief, where do I start? For one none of those groups/individuals you listed killed in the name of Christianity. Second they don't hold a candle in size, strength or influence of ISIS. A sizable minority of Islam supports, in whole or in part, ISIS' goals of a worldwide Islamic caliphate. Apples to oranges.

Muslim groups always put out statements condemning terrorist attacks whenever they happen. No one really pays attention, then they wonder "why aren't Muslims condemning this"?
Try Googling "muslims condemn terrorism" or variations of this to see how much condemnation there is for the Paris attacks or any other terrorism incident.

Let me publicly express my support for the actions of the Muslim Council of Britain in having taken out the above advertisement condemning the Paris terror attacks and pledging allegiance to 'the values of pluralism and tolerance'.

I'm also happy they should say these things, but I'm very cautious as many speak from both sides of their mouth. Britain has a investigative TV show called "Dispatches" and they went with hidden cameras inside some of London's mainstream Mosques, the results were horrible below are some of the contents and the video. Sounds like the same hatred that isis is preaching.

Dr. Ijaz Mian on the subject of non-Muslim laws: "You cannot accept the rule of the kaffir(infedel)
…[w]e have to rule ourselves and we have to rule the others."[3]
Abu Usamah saying of apostates: "If the imam wants to crucify him he should crucify him. The person is put up on the wood and he's left there to bleed to death for three days."[4]
Abu Usamah speaking on the deficiency of women's minds: "Allah has created the woman, even if she gets a PhD, deficient. Her intellect is incomplete, deficient. She may be suffering from hormones that will make her emotional. It takes two witnesses of a woman to equal the one witness of the man."[4]
Praises the killer of a British soldier serving in Afghanistan, stating "The hero of Islam is the one who separated his head from his shoulders."[5]
Abdullah el-Faisal: "You have to bomb the Indian businesses, and as for the Jews you kill them physically."[6]
Advocates violent Jihad against the non-Muslims and predicting that an army of Muslims will arise against the non-Muslims in England.[3]
Dr Bilal Philips on marriage with girls before puberty: "The prophet Muhammad practically outlined the rules regarding marriage prior to puberty. With his practice, he clarified what is permissible, and that is why we shouldn't have any issues about an older man marrying a younger woman, which is looked down upon by this society today, but we know that Prophet Mohammed practised it, it wasn’t abuse or exploitation, it was marriage."[4]
Condemns Muslim integration into British society.[3]
Calls for the overthrow of the British government and democracy.[7] "[T]hey will fight in the cause of Allah. I encourage all of you to be from amongst them, to begin to cultivate ourselves for the time that is fast approaching where the tables are going to turn and the Muslims are going to be in the position of being uppermost in strength, and when that happens, people won’t get killed – unjustly."[6]
Dr. Mian: "You are in a situation in which you have to live like a state within a state, until you take over."[8]
Al Jibali: "By the age of ten, it becomes an obligation on us to force her to wear hijab, and if she doesn’t wear hijab, we hit her."[6]
Dr. Mian praised the Saudi religious police practice of imprisoning people who do not pray: "They send the police, and they say, well, if you don’t come for prayer, close your shop, we will arrest you But if you don’t, then we have to bring the punishment on you, you will be killed, and nobody will pray on you."[6]
Abu Usamah saying that homosexuals should be killed by throwing them off a cliff, stating "throw [the homosexual] off the mountain."[6] https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Undercover_Mosque

They can not. It is against islamic law for muslims to fight against other muslims. They would immediately be considered apostates and receive a death sentence.

Yes whenever it is convenient for them - they consider the other side to not be true muslims - it's OK to kill apostates.
Sunni - Shiites - Sufi - they have all been killing each other since the beginning of islam.

I think Muslims have killed more Muslims than non-Muslims in the last 35 years.

Where do people get these ideas?

Yes, Muslims can and are fighting ISIS.

Just one example from this week's news:

http://news.nationalpost.com/news/p...an-hurtling-toward-them-shot-one-missed-video

ISIS believes that the Yazidi and Shias are apostates and must die in order to forge a pure form of Islam.

Rabindranath Tagore (1861 – 1941) was a Bengali polymath who reshaped his region's literature and music. The composer of both the national anthem of India as well as the national anthem of Bangladesh, he became the first non-European to win the Nobel Prize in Literature.

"A very important factor which is making it almost impossible for Hindu-Muslim unity to become an accomplished fact is that the Muslim can not confine their patriotism to any one country. I had frankly asked the Muslims whether in the event of any Mohammedan power invading India, would they [Muslims] stand side by side with their Hindu neighbors to defend their common land or join the invaders. I was not satisfied with the reply I have obtained from them… Even such a man as Mr. Mohammed Ali has declared that under no circumstances is it permissible for any Mohammedan, whatever be his country, to stand against any Mohammedan."

You have to be kidding me, an American convert speaking on behalf of all Muslims. This is such a crock of shit. How the hell did he become a leading dictator.
There's something wrong here, I believe the roots lie in Saudi Arabia. The most extremest Islamic Muslim state.
