I just said they stole the immigration control platform that the Conservatives had well before then and now you say that I lied??
You said the Liberals stole the conservative platform.
Then you admitted Trudeau changed it.
The Liberal platform was released almost a week before the conservative platform in 2025.
Trudeau's changes were announced even before that in 2024.
I think anyone reading your mental gymnastics can tell who is being hypocritical or lying. lmfao.

so the liberals are making financial decisions without a budget
the root cause of likely 90% of all bankruptcies

they are not presenting a budget because they do not have the time and must act quickly?

meanwhile they suspended parliament while they ran their predetermined leadership drama
parliament will sit for 20 days and then take the summer off
As I mentioned earlier, most Canadians don't know or don't care about budgets, deficits, debt, etc.

They care that celebrities that left Canada and have lived and prospered in the US for decades , tell them to keep their elbows up.

Trudeau and the Liberals stole it from the Conservatives. Carney kept it in his campaign platform.
That's why I said you have not been paying attention or are just naive.

But nice try...just shows how brainwashed you are.

You sound like you have buyer's remorse everyday your leader reverses his strategy and does the opposite of what you voted for him to do.

Perhaps you are the one who needs to cope with the reality of being brainwashed.

So it goes back to what I said earlier.
If the Liberals do something right, they stole it from the conservatives.
If they do something you don't approve of, then it is because they are Liberals.
Meanwhile your leader lost his own seat. lmfao.
Your mental gymnastics I suspect is conservative brainwashing at this point, is too funny because most Canadians see right through it.

I have zero buyer's remorse and I am super happy with Carney's win.
I don't care about policy at all.
I have said this many many times.
I only care that the government in power in Canada is ideologically opposed to the one in the US.
Priority #1 for me is preventing Canada from backsliding into fascism.
Priority #2 is tariffs.
We can quibble over other policies such as immigration, budgets, deficits later.
And not that I disagree with Liberal policies in the first place.

You accused me of lying and I corrected you...you can apologize now.

The Liberals stole most of their platform from the Conservatives starting when they realized that their polls kept tanking and an election on the horizon and that was when Trudeau was still around.
You can at least admit that seeing as your attempts to refute that claim have failed miserably.

If you prefer supporting a party that only changes course when they are afraid of losing an election after demonizing people for criticizing their policies, then no one can help you with that affliction.

Mike Myers is funny and pretty entertaining but apparently has become a nightmare to work with

as you point out, he has not lived in Canada for decades, so zero understanding of the damage caused by the liberal party of Canada.

if you need an arrogant celebrity to tell you how to vote , you have wasted one of the most valuable rights a Canadian has

Tell us how, based on your priorities, a country can prevent backsliding into fascism and deal with tariffs without policies.

Also tell us how you think Carney was "standing up to Trump" by removing the retaliatory tariffs imposed on the US in order to "stand up to Trump"

Remember to type your response with your elbows up.

This should be fun...

Isn't it ironic that Carney and Meyers, both not having lived in Canada for a long time, somehow became the poster children of the "elbows up" brainwashing movement?

no companies are not going to wait 4 years
a CEO with that strategy is soon to become an ex-CEO

relative to Canada??

you are self delusional

you had better call the CEO of GlobalWafers
oh and you should also school these companies as well

  1. Apple's $500 billion investment in U.S. manufacturing and training.
  2. TSMC's $165 billion investment in U.S. chip manufacturing.
  3. Nvidia's investment in U.S.-based chip and supercomputer manufacturing.
  4. Johnson & Johnson's $55 billion investment in domestic pharma facilities.
  5. Eli Lilly's four new U.S. pharma plants.
  6. GE Aerospace's $1 billion supply chain expansion.
  7. Hyundai's $21 billion investment through 2028
you are naive and self deluding

you are naive and self deluding
the will be capital flowing to the USA and new economic activity in the USA

you are naive and self deluding
trade will be realigned and waiting will be an economically disastrous policy for Canada to take
They won't have to wait that long. Trump is already capitulating. He is chasing deals now.

Great, so you admit that you lied that the Liberals "stole" conservative platform ideas.
The Liberals simply course corrected something that needed to be course corrected.
Really? Cripes some of my staunch Liberal friends happily admit they co-oped some things, all because they wanted to win. Some admitted they hoped Carney was lying on some things but would do anything to keep them in.

It's politics. Of course they Liberals saw the writing on the wall. But please don't say the Conservatives didn't clearly stated things first. It wasn't a course correction. It was capitulating to the public's desire for Conservative policy.
