the right does not try to push DEI onto Columbia or Serbia or any other foreign nation

no doubt republicans have over spent on shit in the past
it could get interesting when Musk start looking into pentagon spending
Of course they did, now Trump and the media (including the media he says is fake news) are making it look like it was the Democrats only.

As for the Pentagon, lots of spending there but isn't that what Conservatives were all for? Military spending?
Musk will cut Pentagon spending and then it will go to his pockets as well as Bezos' who if I'm not mistaken won huge Pentagon contracts years ago didn't he?

However here is no question the democrats and republicans do not want anyone looking at the books
they are outraged anyone would dare look at the corruption, but silent on the corruption itself
so very telling
Fixed it for you.

they are the wrong side of the moral fence here
the democrats were the ones caught with their hands in the cookie jar
Right because during Trump's first term, he stayed quiet on the issue and "cleaning the swamp" along with spending.

Time will tell, he is quite unpredictable
just to be clear Trumps personality can be very repulsive, he is mean spirited , nasty , vindictive
It's why a lot of people don't like him.

the immediate focus is on shrinking the size of govt
that should be a plus for every tax payer
On the surface it looks like a plus, but others will still benefit and I'm not alluding to the taxpayers.

the truth of the matter likely lies somewhere between what Musk/ Trump have implied and your claim of a nothing burger

that was 2015
so defiantly worth the effort to ensure SS checks are being sent to the correct people and only to the correct people
I'd put out an accurate report with all the nuance in that report if I was being hired by the US government to do so. Elon did not. He has a duty to be accurate given his hire and possibly his salary. Yet this was available to him. That's either incompetence or malevolence. No other conclusion.
Yes, the report points put things that needed fixing. These were brought to congress. They (a republican congress mind you, refused to fund the work). But thats what IG's are for. The congress is supposed to act on those reports.

Btw the inflammatory inaccurate tweet has been routine by Elon. He published a Pic of a contract he canceled and said he saved 8 billion $. The contract was for 8 million.
Again, routine.

What do you mean 4T disappeared?
Internet memes.
You can't expect him to actually engage with reality, can you?

And no one voted for this.
I am sure some people voted for this.
Some voted for other things and didn't really care about this.
Some never even noticed Trump and Musk were promising this.
And some thought they were voting against this.

And you are naive for thinking that it is what you want him to do, because what you want him to do is not what he is actually doing.
I don't know that for sure.
It is entirely possible that this is exactly what PP1000 wants.
Hurt the people who he thinks should get hurt, and make sure rich sociopaths get more power and can fuck people over.
I don't think we can dismiss that this is what he wants, despite all the "cutting waste" smokescreening.

$4 trillion in payments from the Treasury that can’t be traced that DOGE found.
I think the current version of the story Elon's telling is 4.7 trillion.

What you call fascism is what I voted for.
Yes, that's quite clear.

The people that will get hit the hardest are marginalized people as they have poor credit and these banks may prey on them during interim. But so be it.

The hypocrisy that Dems have more billionaires supporting them.
You don't actually know this.
There was an article at some point during the election that said more billionaires who had made a public statement had supported Harris.
That doesn't actually mean more billionaires support the Democrats.

(And, of course, when you look at actual funding by billionaires that can be traced, it is the GOP that has more)

To be honest, if I was involved in those administrations I would totally be for this. Funnel money through the countless agencies we have so nobody knows what is going on.
Projecting your own criminal nature on others isn't wise.

[QUOTEUnlike those billionaires, at least Elon is transparent. Maybe you don’t like transparency. God dam marginalized. Hope Elon succeeds.[/QUOTE]

Elon isn't transparent.
At best you can say his open buying of Trump was transparent.
But DOGE isn't transparent and Elon is willing to expend a lot of effort to keep it that way.

Elon tweets are chock-a-block full of nonsense. That's not transparent. He won't disclose his conflicts of interest. That's not transparent. Whats he doing with all the private info he took? That's not transparent.
His "transparency" is there as a fake thing for people who want to lie to themselves or others to point to.

LaRue comes down in favor of malevolance there, since he is strongly on the side of Elon not being incompetent.

There is a reason Trump fired so many IGs.

There is no need to tell the truth when you have a propaganda machine and a lot of contacts.
The "hack n' leak" approach has repeatedly shown it works.

The worst is that Musk has a background in computer engineering—he knows all that. He's just playing fool, and it works because most people have zero common sense when it comes to politics.

I have built, programmed, led, taught, and more about databases for nearly 30 years. Bad data exist. All the time. For many reasons. I cannot count the number of time I have built programs to identify, prevent, automate clean-up, monitor, and audit databases. Yet sometimes you simply cannot delete entries. For various reasons that always involved level of clearance and security. What we do not see here in what Elon is reporting is that either these database entries are flagged in the database itself or in the clean-up program that is run before a second layer program will pull a query and send results to the payment system. I try to vulgarize here as much as possible.

But what I will not vulgarize is you are a moron if you take for cash what Elon is reporting on Twitter... You can still be a nice chap yet a moron ;)
Elon has 'god mode' with federal databases now.
I'm sure he'll just clean up double entries and those with no birth dates.

Musk has created a huge mess and is now trying to backtrack to re-hire those that have been fired:

MSNBC's Rachel Maddow unloads as DOGE 'geniuses' try to 'un-fire' nuke experts — but can't
