I hear this word used quite often in between sentences during speech. Particularly amongst those in their early 20's and perhaps younger. Where did this come from? Are they teaching this in schools?

We used to use it ironically to make fun of "valley girls" in my youth, I still do it sometimes. But less ironically now. Lol.

I also hear the word right used in the same way. "So I was waiting for the bus right, and like these dudes got on right and they like totally smelled like bo and shit right?" "Oh yeah, no, like for sure I know right."
