Great match indeed but deciding it on penalty kicks is farking bullshit.

Liverpool hasn't won this title since Ian Rush' squad did it way back in 1984.

The funny thing is that they are 5th this year and won't qualify for anything as defending champs although FIFA might make an exception.

oh I'm glad BB refused to come here before watching it. I was so excited DURING the game that I went to the Sports forum and posted the score. I know they won't be replaying this game on Italian TV over and over agian, like they were doing with other games on late night, every night. Judging from the air time, AC and InterMilan fans seem obsessive with all the $$$ for the TV time.

it will be seen as one of the all time classic matches. If UEFA and FIFA can't find some way for liverpool to return and defend the title next year then there is no justice in this world. They have proven they deserve to be there.

Dudek played the game of his life. As someone who follows the EPL every week, I have seen him let in some cheesy goals.

I don't see how AC milan let them tie the game, I think they were tired.

Even though I am a limey, Milan is my favourite Italian team.
