Are you looking for a Host to just "back up" data, web pages, etc? If it's just data, why not look into the Western Digital "MyBook", I've got the 2Tb version and it backs up both my machines, and it's accessable via the web.

Maybe he is concerned about losing all his data in a fire. Having off site back up is a good idea, and is highly recommended for all businesses.

You can unplug a "My Book" and store it 30klm away from his computer(s).
When you doing BUSINESS RECOVERY planning you have to look at how far away is your "offsite" storage site is. How often your backups are, and we can talk about a whole bunch of things to consider. It all depends how important your data is. If you looking for a "host" site, you'll have to ask them these type pof questions.

I have 3 hd's...

The once backup is my software & music. I cant handle cd's on my own so i dump the software into a folder & install from there.

The weekly backup is my word excel docs in a different folder

the daily backup is my email. Both msgs and address book.

none of the folders are shared
