I'm in the market for Green Bay Packers and Dallas Cowboys stuff, beyond the standard couple of sweaters offered at SportChek or Athletes World. If anyone is travelling in areas where they might be able to help out, I would certainly appreciate the assistance. Obviously I am more than happy to cover the costs, exchange etc, or barter in trade.

My two young men on my Christmas list.

Did anyone else watch the Packers game last night? I love a good close game like that - And Favre with a broken thumb and all.

My idea of a perfect Sunday afternoon? Naked, with a hot and horny companion, and the football game for our own between quarters entertainment.

It was a very good game, and so was the Miami game too.

I am not sure if I even could get it up during a Bills game, but maybe if it was an NFC Western Division game, well I digress.

Why wait for between quarters? Haven't you ever played bedroom football? Many penalites such as Illegal procedure, Illegal use of hands, Too many men on the field (maybe not in your case), etc.

Try e-bay for the Packers stuff. And yes, it was awesome to see the Pack finally win in the Dome.

I just won an auction for a Favre jersey. But the pickings are slim on EBay right now. Lots of photos of course, and there seems to be a large number of baby items available, however I have no need of those either.

It was just a suggestion for our U.S. travellers and visitors that if anyone sees any interesting stuff out there, I'd be interested.

Bedroom football huh? I've never tried that, at least not during the game, lol.

I remember Michael Jackson at the Superbowl half time show a number of years ago, he kept grabbing himself in the crotch area, I think the officials should have flagged him for “illegal use of the hands”

Of course there are all of those shops, but I'm dealing in cash these days. My credit card has gone away on vacation and left me behind.

I was pricing an autographed jersey on packertime.com, which is apparently their official site. $399 US, so with taxes, s&h, and exchange rate (and Visa charges the worst rates, assuming my card would speak for me) the damn jersey would be over $700. I love my kid, but I ain't paying that for someone's signature. The same jersey, plain, was starting at $29.99 on ebay, brand new with tags. I won the auction at $38.00, so plus the $5 post office fee to issue the money order, and less than $10 to have it mailed to me, it's a great deal. Still less than buying the same jersey from an NFL retailer in town here.

But I would love to find some odds and ends that the stores don't carry in Toronto. Lighters, beer steins, christmas tree ornaments etc, for Green Bay and the Cowboys.

You know, it's tough to shop without cards, or change your digital tv to satellite tv, or change your ISP, or rent a car etc, etc, etc

Thanks for all the ideas guys. As always, you are the best.

Trading cards are a great way to start a hobby, and its something you can get time and again. Legends of the Game used to sell Team Sets, or you can just go thru the boxes and compile sets of commons. Then for passing, birthdays, etc etc you can get special/collector cards that have a higher value.

Actually, I bought several sealed cases when I was pregnant with him, so he still has those from the 1991 season. I got some NHL and NFL from a couple of different makers each. We've left them sealed. The current plan is that they will go to his kid some day.

I don't think there were too many rookie with the potential to be legends in 91' or none that spring to mind.

Um.... some guy named "Favre" apparently quite popular with Cheeseheads ...

also Ricky Watters, maybe Ed McCaffrey, Herman Moore... at least are all "stars"...

mmmm, spaghetti sauce stains. I'm hungry.

So I tried to change my email address on my ebay account since my old rogers account was inactive for a while and they deleted it. You can't even change an email address without a credit card. Life without plastic is going to be a challenge.

A friend of mine collects cards & a few months ago he got a special Brett Farve card that contained a small piece of Farve's game worn jersey.
