As usual with LOST, many more questions than answers. Who was in the casket that no-one came to see? Who really is the on the freighter? I like the show but the producers run the risk of making it too convoluted for the "average" viewer.

Yes Sir I understand !

This was a flash forward , not a flashback !!!

Amazing concept too.

So Jack and Kate ( and at least 1 more incl the coffin person) were off the island and now looking back to when they were on.

My initial hunch is that the coffin held Ben who jack forced off when the rescue team came.

Now Jack has to go back to the island for whatever reason.

Almost plagurizing in my view

A great guest appearance by Walt. I wonder how they're going to explain him when all is said and done.

I enjoyed the flashforward since they were obviously tricking us into try to figure out when it took place in Jack's "past" timeline until the big reveal at the end with Kate.

Well ya. I figured out is was a flash forward and "Jack is now a drug addict and a drunk". Where does that leave us now. I wish they would give us more details.

Just wondered if anyone read between the lines and could grasp anything past the obvious. Just a pain to have to wait now for next season ...thanks

I am really thinking about a few ideas for you Radio,

1) I think the show is more ''out of order'' than I think. Certain things will prove IMO how really out or chronological order they are

2) Is it Sawyer in the coffin , they mentioned the persons' name started with J-which would kill my Ben idea

3)Did anyone notice the Dharma sign on said coffin

The names of the episode was "through the lookin glass"
reference:

Through the Looking-Glass, and What Alice Found There (1871) is a work of children's literature by Lewis Carroll . It is the sequel to Alice's Adventures in Wonderland, there are many mirror themes, including opposites, time running backwards, and so on. Alice ponders what the world is like on the other side of a mirror, and to her surprise, is able to pass through to experience the alternate world.

From what I gathered last night. Jack's interaction with Naomi's boat will bring about a whole new group of bad guys that will make the "Others" look like saints.

Crazy eps can't wait for next season, the Series is running till 2010

:D
That pissed me off. The show was written for 1 season and all of a sudden, they stretch it out to 5, leaving some inconsistencies and adding things based on the publics input. Heroes was good; one season, one problem solved. New season = new problem (and new era?). Babylon 5 was another great show, everything was written and planned in advance and that's what they did.

I have liked the show but it no longer is in the must watch category for me.

I didn't really enjoy the last ep, and really not in suspense towards season 4. But I'll still watch it next season. Similar to early on in season 3, I started to lose some interest, mainly because they started to part from the survivors and their part of the island. Once the eps focus was back on the survivors I got hooked again.

I agree. This also led to less contradictions in the story arc. I was sadden when they canceled "Crusade". But have you heard about "Lost Tales" basketcase?

Cute In A Kilt

The Lost me by the Second season, way too much drama and way too many WIERD mysteries to keep me going (Polar bears, black ominious clouds, the others... like WTF?)... I mean once in a while some of those mysteries should be solved but I think it was the attacking cloud the killed it for me.

Heros' ROCKED, the finale was wicked!!! I really wish there were more Syler/Peter battles thou.... and no offense I wouldn't have JUST stabbed Syler and called it a day... would have at least put a few bullet in there! Now the wait for BSG continues..... *sigh* I miss Starbuck! Dexter is also a good show for when it comes back :)

At least they get off the bloody island for awhile. God I was getting sick of the island and the "Others". Kate looks pretty sweet after a hot bath eh? BTW, it was Sawyer in the casket. Also I think the island is an alternate universe.

That's all.

For me, 'Lost' is one of those shows that I still watch almost immediately after I Tivo it, unlike some others which I can let sit in my 'Now Playing' list for weeks. However, it is a very frustrating show in some ways, and I can understand why some people would tire of it. It moves at a snail-like pace, in terms of anything actually happening, and for every question that gets answered, five new ones get introduced. TV should not take that much effort.

As for the finale, when Ben was making his plea to Jack to not use Naomi's phone, I suspected he was telling the truth. Not because he gives a hoot about Jack and his friends, but because his way of life could be threatened if he contacted Naomi's people. Locke, of course, has long been in tune with all this island as sentient being stuff (and besides, he can walk there), so he didn't want Jack to use the phone either. This flash-forward for Jack strongly suggests that only bad things will happen to them if they leave the island.

I didn't catch the "J" name reference at the funeral home, but could it be "John Locke"? It couldn't be "James" as in Sawyer, because presumably, wouldn't Kate have attended the service? There has been a long standing conflict between Jack and Locke, and could Jack be grieving because he now knows Locke was right?

Since someone mentioned the Heroes finale, I'd like to add that this show rocks! The final confrontation with Syler was nicely staged. I liked how all the heroes all came together--it was very Justice League. One of the things about this show which I like is how it borrows a lot of comic book hero conventions, but presents them in a fresh, contemporary manner. The only thing that left me wondering a bit is why Peter and Nathan had to fly off when Peter was exploding? Peter has Claire's regenerative power, so why couldn't Claire just shoot him? He'd come back to life later, wouldn't he? As for the ending as it happened, again, Peter is indestructible, so couldn't he survive this explosion? Nathan could simply have flown off safely, let Peter explode, and then catch him again on the way down.

Peter is definitely alive, but I believe Nathan is dead.
