Wondering people's thought on the rebranding that ALO is doing with their Bank street location. It is called Luxuria and is set to open in May. Membership runs $300 per year or $500 for 2 years. A huge fee when compared to memberships at places like Alpha, Hush, or CMJ. However, if the experience is amazing, it could be worth it. Wondering what people are hearing about what to expect from this new place?

I am curious, what could this location offer than is that many levels above the existing membership options?

I’ve never been to Hush, Alpha, or CMJ (only AT/PS and Sparx/BB). Mostly because I am very occasional and haven’t explored them yet. But in terms of roster and quality of the spa, it seems those places are pretty good. Struggling to understand what the selling features of Luxuria might be.

I’ve been to Alo/Luxe 2 times, and only one of those I’d consider a repeat and the other sketched me out. As is, I don’t see Luxe as better than the others.

I contacted them and ended up purchasing a membership. There are some perks linked to the membership that makes it virtually free. From my understanding the new location is nothing like what currently exists in Ottawa.

I am seriously thinking of buying a membership to see if it is even worth it. Might cost me $100 as I can't see me getting away on my birthday to take advantage of the birthday promo but I would get the other $200 back right away.

I haven't been to any ALO locations since last summer (Champagne was simply irresistible!), but this new location has a vibe about it that has me intrigued. We shall see!

Had a chance to visit yesterday. Nicest rooms of all the spas i have been too and they have some big plans to enhance the overall experience. This is phase one of their three phases of opening. When it is all said and done, it sounds like it will be a little oasis for men. The current phase has huge rooms with all that you need and then some. Showers are huge with tons of room for some play time. Super comfy bed, large TV, fireplace, and even an in room toilet. Heated towel rack and floors accentuate the attention to detail.

Of course, the quality of tge entire experience will still require a great hostess to take care of you. Kamila was that for me and I will respect her dnr policy and not offer details. I was told that Christina Di Mello had joined her team and with established ladies like Sadie, Olivia, and Kensy, they are developing a top tier roster as well. Cant wait to watch all three phases come to life and indulge in a truly luxurious experience!

Man, I passed on their April special because I thought it might be too good to be true. Now I regret it. Still, can't see buy a membership for $300 for one year when all you seem to get is higher door fees and a nice room.

Once you get there and have a session with someone like Kamila…everything makes sense😂

Large showers? Benches in shower? Bed?
What's with the mystery around the perks..

I’m not saying that I don’t care at all about the comforts of the room, but the membership fee seems like a bit of an overreach. On the other hand, in many circumstances, with the right hostess, I think nothing about dropping $300 or more on a session, so I’m still on the fence.

I was there this past Saturday, I saw Christina Di Milano. I had a fantastik session with her.

Yes, the place is very nice and comfortable. Biggest shower I ever saw in a spa.
Bed very comfortable, TV on top of a nice fireplace.
The toilet inside the room - that, I don't get it... I prefer the privacy of a regular toilet with a door. I will never use it!

But I still can't explain myself the $300 membership fees (Ok, TBH I didn't search seriously). What does it give you more? I hope that it's not just because of how nice is the place.
Christina didn't mention these fees to me, but I'll ask her at my next visit.

I saw on their site that members get a better rate for appointments but could not find that better rate listed anywhere.

Their site has a chat feature so thought I would use it to ask what the member appointment rates are but the answer was very unsatisfactory - all they kept saying is “rates are on the website”. I tried to clarify what I was asking but kept getting the same response so I gave up asking…..

Would think it better & easier to simply list what you get for $300

I totally agree, Christina is a blast! I had a duo with her and Kamila, it was absolutely unforgettable. I already got the 200$ I paid for my membership back. Btw bbg their website does list what’s included lol

On another subject, has anyone had a session kensy? She caught my eyes.
