I don't get the paparazzi and crazed fans. Supposedely the paparazzi just spooked a horse she was riding. I wouldn't care if Madonna was blowing Dennis Rodman on Main St. Not just her, but celebrities in general. The way people mob Tom Cruise or BrAngelina. They could all be marching down my street naked and I wouldn't get up from the couch to look. I just don't get it. It's the Hollywood hype machine, I guess. Octo-Mom, who gives a fuck? Why is she chased by photogs? Britney? WTF? Thank you for letting me vent!!!

I usually use Yahoo as my web portal and the headlines were usually interesting and relevant. However, now I have noticed that usually 2-3 of the 5 top stories on their site are celebrity bullshit stories. A story about Megan Fox calling off her wedding will be sandwiched between an earthquake and terrorist bombing. Truly sad when the media creates "news" from celebrities.

No offense, I like my Canadian friends very much and visit once a week, BUT it ain't just us. I remember turning on my TV at my hotel in Niagara Falls Canada and saw crazed people and photogs mobbing Brad and Angelina. I thought to myself, "how embarrassing, wish we would not show that lunacy outside the US." Turns out it was in Toronto at some film festival. So both our countries have these jackasses running around!!!

Who gives a fuck whether Madonna's riding or horse or Brangelina are going into a festival. They were freaking out like it was the second coming of Christ. I couldn't give a fuck about either situation and the fact they take time to even report it is disturbing.

Do you really think that an event that is designed to attract attention like that and a more private setting like horseback riding are the same? And no, I don't give a fuck but if you're going to make an argument that Canadians and Americans are both guilty of pursuing celebrities...at least make an argument that has a small percentage of common sense (assuming you are capable of such an argument).
