You could easily qualify for Mahers audience. We werent discussing Will, or Hume, we were showing a direct statement by Maher, which he obviously believed, which a twelve year old would know is not plausible. Moreover no one extended that into any of the other nonsense you drag into this thread. Maher relies on zombies like you to blindly follow his fact free commentary. Thanks for proving my point!Of course George will and Brit Hume and all the conservative news pundits NEVER exaggerate or misinterpret a story to make an incorrect right wing point about how all capitalism is just and perfect and all social programs are for lazy bums.
Talking about zombies....Maher relies on zombies like you to blindly follow his fact free commentary.
Fuck that! They would still have to pay taxes and obey unfair laws designed to keep the individual from reaching his true potential. Somalia's the place to be! The one true paradise on earth where a man rises or falls on his own merits, preferably well armed, and there ain't no taxes, regulations, or big government breathing down your neck telling you what to do. Yep. Somalia. Heaven on earth.I don't know y all conservative people don't move to Texas or Alabama or Mississippi. The weathers great, and u can all live every man for himself. You can all cary guns and shoot each other whenever you're in a pick up truck traffic jam. And leave us civilized people alone.
In 2011 (most recent data I could find), approximately 87.51 people die by gunfire each day in the U.S.A.On his show tonight, Sept 13, Maher claimed that since August 21, the date of the gas attack in Syria, while 1400 were killed in Syria over 1800 were killed by guns in America.
Is that true or false?
10,000 murders, you're not counting suicides, accidental shootings, undetermined causes.Seems a bit high, statistically speaking. They normally have just over 10,000 per year. So in about a month, only around 900 of them should kill each other with guns. Sounds like an exaggeration to me.
do this includes all deaths, not just murders? its a crazy, sad, scary number though isnt it !!!In 2011 (most recent data I could find), approximately 87.51 people die by gunfire each day in the U.S.A.
That would be ~2100, so his number sounds completely reasonable.
Yes, murders, suicides, accidental shootings, .... any deaths by guns.do this includes all deaths, not just murders? its a crazy, sad, scary number though isnt it !!!
