And as for partitioning, there are all kinds of ways to partition a hard drive without formating it. I use easy partition pro. It allows you to partition your drive while still in the windows OS.

As for icon size, you can change that too by right clicking on your desktop, and choosing icon size text size etc.

I also use tune up utilities 2006 to fix many problems that occur while dling illegal vids, installing and removing apps etc.

Keyboard Problems?

Everytime I hit the apostrophe key, I get a little popup bar at the bottom of my screen with search functions in it. WTF is it? Something has changed some of the key functions on my keyboard, i.e., I can no longer use the apostrophe key. I use Firefox. Anyone know WTF is going on???

I had exactly the same problem, some days I could use the apostrophe key no problem, other days I also got that little popup bar.

Me thinks its either a bug in firefox or a virus

Apparently it's a bug in Firefox 1.5. Unfortunately, the designers didn't make the autosearch an option that you can disable so we are (see, I cannot use apostrophe!!!) stuck with it until the next version. Bastards.

Here's a fix:

The fix in four steps:

Type about:config into the Firefox address bar and hit the Enter key (or press the “Go” button). This will take you to a special advanced configuration screen.

Your cursor should already be blinking happily in the “Filter” text box. If not, click in that text box and type “typeahead” to narrow the options down to only those relating to the Find-As-You-Type feature.

Check the line that begins with accessibility.typeaheadfind.autostart. This controls whether the browser will start searching text on a web page as soon as you begin typing, without having to first invoke the “Find” dialog by pressing Control–F or typing a forward-slash. I had disabled this feature in the Firefox options, but for some reason this value was set to “true.”

If accessibility.typeaheadfind.autostart has a value of “true” on your machine and you’re experiencing the same bug I was, try double-clicking that row in the about:config interface. This will set it’s value to “false,” which solved the problem for me.
