We may never really know. Think they wanted to steal the truck, but something went wrong, Bosma was hurt or killed, and they panicked. Would be hard to get 3 people together to plan to murder someone over a truck.
Hard to believe also, that Millard, after having killed Bosma, drives the truck to his mothers house and the victims body to his property in Cambridge.

Thus, setting the stage for an insanity defense.
You mean stupidity defense?

More likely his defense will be that he was framwed by the two other guys.

Perhaps but not necessarily.

I'm sure it will be weeks, maybe months before its all pieced together, but remember that the truck was all over the news so he'd have to get THAT outta sight ASAP. It was spotted in Brantford... (and presumably the victim's cell phone was dumped at the same time), so its not far to Waterloo Regional where he could have picked up that big covered trailor to hide the truck in. He'd have to dispose of the body, so he stopped at the farm in Cambridge, then jumped on the 401 to make his way to Kleinburg to drop the trailor/ truck off there. (Or maybe he did so in reverse, dumping the body first then heading to Waterloo...)

Ancaster to Brantford is maybe a 20 minute drive... Brantford to Cambridge another 30 mins, and to Waterloo Regional from Roseville road, maybe another 20... so all this could be done in just over an hour...

Not very smart, but all very calculated...

Also the prosecution could use the burning of the body as Millard's consciousness of guilt! He knew he did something wrong by trying to cover up his crime.

You don't need a logical motive. Millard could've done it for kicks or a thrill
But why drive all the way to Ancaster to do your killing??

Makes no sense

This sound like a setup to me to frame the accused.

Just my thinking since many things seems very obvious.

It's all very strange. Either Millard is the dumbest premeditated murderer of all time, or something else is going on here.

I don't see what all the speculation is about... Ockams razor should come in handy here.

They were going to do one heist previously but they got a case of nerves or didn't like the first truck they tried, or the guy looked like he could fight them off. So they tried a second heist and got Bosma.

Not rocket science.

Was on the radio that Millard’s business was losing contracts since his father died.
I wonder if Millard killed them all???

A trust fund has been set up for the family, with their approval:

TD Canada Trust, Branch 2047, Account 6332096

I think tomorrow I'll donate some money to the family

If he buried the body on somebody else's land, the real owner might notice and call the police.
BTW: That bastard in Cleveland plead not guilty.
