Looks like it's over for Tebow.

Now sign Eric Dickerson, Barry Sanders, Ron Dayne, Michael Irvin and Terrell Owens! Can Dwight Clarke be far behind?
What did you expect him/them to say ?All the talk of Elway being comfortable with Tebow as the starter going into training camp was hog wash. He never liked an option QB who threw 15 times a game with less than 50% passing accuracy. Manning presents the perfect escape route to ditch Tebow. What next for Tebow, then?
Jacksonville is by far the best fit for Tebow and for the team too. If I was Shahid Khan (Jags owner), I would push like crazy to make sure Jags get Tebow, even if it means sacrificing a first round draft pick and more.A few teams were mentioned in the paper as speculated landing spots for Tebow.
One was Jacksonville. A long shot was the Bills. Others were mentioned but I can't remember. Any thoughts on what would be a good fit for him in terms of improving the team on the field offensivly?
Tebow does not warrant a first pick. At best, it would be a second rounder and even that is a stretch.Jacksonville is by far the best fit for Tebow and for the team too. (1) From a pure business standpoint, Jacksonville will get a crazy financial boost from Tebow. We're talking millions more per year revenue for Jac. Considering Tebow is from Florida and he's beyond beloved in Florida, Jackonville will sell so many more season tickets with Tebow as the cover boy. This will trickle down to more revenue from merchandise, team apparel and food/drink sales.
(2) From a pure football standpoint, Jackonville and Tebow fit really well. If you've seen Blaine play last year, he just doesn't have it as a starting NFL QB. I know Blaine was a rookie and he didn't have much help, esp atrocious pass blocking from his offensive line. But Blaine is easily rattled from blitzes and he's as inaccurate as Tebow. The thing is Jackonville has ALWAYS had a great running game, with MJD leading the way. Tebow will thrive in that Jags offence, running the same option college style offence that John Fox implemented in Denver last year. Jags love to run the ball, slow the game down and let their defence keep them in games, in rather low scoring affairs.
I think this is the best fit for Tebow by far
Tebow's limitations as a QB are very well known and discussed to death. Obviously, if Jags have a top pick and could get Luck/Griffin, they should def draft them and pass on Tebow. But Tebow is an improvement over Blaine. And he fits in well with the Jags scheme/system.Tebow does not warrant a first pick. At best, it would be a second rounder and even that is a stretch.
He is very limited as an NFL quaterback, hence by having Jacksonville trade for him they would basically be resigning themselves to a very short term gain of popularity at the expense of building a team to win championships.
