I was watching the Score last night to catch up on the latest sports scores with Steve Kouleas and Martine Gaillard when Kouleas announced that last night was Martine's last night on the job. She indicated that she was leaving to pursue other interests although she did not elaborate. She also indicated that she was not leaving because she was unhappy with the network or her job as a reporter.

I have always liked her as a sportscaster. She transmitted warmth and a little bit if flirtishness in her delivery.

I will miss her and wish her the best.

Actually, to be more precise, she has left The Score and accepted a job at Rogers Sportsnet. She will fill the void left by sexy Jody Vance who actually DID leave Sportsnet to pursue other interests.

Apparently Martine was a little bit peeved with The Score for their decision to move her away from the anchor desk and turn her more into a features reporter. I haven't heard anything about how this move might/would affect her HNIC job.

Both very sexy ladies, though if I had my choice, I'd pick Jody.

yeah, Sportsnet was notorious and somewhat vilified for having one of them transparents anchor desks, which prominently (and intentionally) showed off Jody's and Hazel's legs.
