That is a fucking stupid comment.
.
You do what you want.
Don't cover your face when you sneeze.
Go to work when you are sick.
Take a shit on the floor of a public building.
Not true. In many places mask mandates occurred around the time when economies were opening up. Opening up works towards an increase in infections. Masks work to reduce that increase. So without many wearing masks the number of infections would have been even worse. Just as without lockdowns deaths would be far higher.
Ah, you must be the genius we were waiting for ! We have subsequently opened up businesses dramatically and increased the opportunity for contracting the virus by 749.321 % (motto: when pulling number from your ass - do it with flair!). Unlike Florida who followed an approach to reopening echoed in this forum - Ontario with a population of 15 million continues to flirt with ~ 100 new daily cases opposed to Florida with 20 million and their ~ 10,000 daily cases.
Question for you, can you admit since Ontario made masks mandatory our new infection rate hasnt declined much (beyond the usual decline we were already experiencing). Simple question, yes or no??
What I've posted numerous times that you either don't understand or you've been purposely ignoring to suit your narrative is the fact that there are so many different factors that work hand in hand to limit the spread of the Coronavirus, and there is more of a life normalcy today then there was prior to stage 3 in Ontario.
More people are heading out of there homes, more people are going to work, people are going to gyms, people are going for drinks, people are having larger parties, and some very few are not abiding by the guidelines or keep proper hygiene.
As per your very recent previous posts, for some unexplained and illogical reason you think that there needs to be a direct relation between the number of people or percentage of people wearing masks VS the number of new cases meanwhile ignoring all the other important facts that also have an affect on the spread of the Coronavirus. After 8 months into a pandemic you need explanation on them again Social distancing, masks in public, proper hygiene, contact tracing. It's "Stable Genius" rational

I asked you a simple yes/no question and you still cannot answer it with either yes or no.
The correct answer is no there hasnt been a significant decline in new cases since masks were mandated. Whether that has anything to do with the masks or not is impossible to say, so thats the one thing you are right about.
However, you just proved my point. You cannot prove that masks reduce daily new Covid-19 infections.
So thanks for agreeing with me

What you've been claiming over and over falsely and claiming again in your above post is trying to undermine the use of masks in public settings by saying the number of cases hasn't been reduced since masks have been mandatory so that's evidence they don't work. Meanwhile at the same time either not understanding or purposely ignoring the important facts that there are more factors in play such as more people going to work, more people heading out of their homes, people are going to gyms, people are going for drinks, people are having larger parties, and some very few people are breaking the rules of social distancing, not wearing masks or not keeping proper hygiene.
You illogically and irrationally expect a direct relation between the number of people or percentage of people wearing masks VS the number of new cases meanwhile ignoring all the other important facts and that's not how it works.
