Did anyone else see today's Tribune? Front page story on the growing massage parlour problem in Guelph. Apparently the police have have received complaints about 2 or 3 locations and are keeping an eye on them.

Could this have anything to do with the bonehead that decided to open a new parlour right across the street from the Tribune's offices????

Dude, are you actually quoting the "Guelph Tribune" as. . . . well. . . . an actual newspaper? Yikes:eek: The Tribune is like a bad high school newspaper. You think they might be trying to sell newspapers by touching a sensational issue like MP's? Methinks. Guelph police have much more important things to do such as curbing the crystal-meth problem in Guelph. The amounts of crystal-meth being cooked and consumed in Guelph and surrounding areas these days has grown something like 400% in the last year.

Granted its a rag ... really nothing more than an advertising supplement. At the same time, they do quote LE in the article.

Of course you're right that picking on the biz is always a good ploy to increase circulation, but at the same time the number of new parlours opening up in Guelph is bound to increase unwanted attention.

It's actually not across the street... it's on the same side and in the same stripmall. :p

They have absolutely no brains. Open up two MP's in downtown Guelph one street away from the LE and then another one opens right beside the local newspaper operation. What the hell... why don't they just open a drive thru on the 401 and #6 north exit.

Maybe I shouldn't give them any ideas... :p

Damn I knew you were smart! What are you going to name it and when will it open? Will you take debit cards?
Actually this is starting to sound like Brandi in Oshawa, the "drive through Princess"!!

Should Guelph MPs be avoided for a while? I am always self-concious of walking into a MP - worried about who may be watching and who may be getting pictures/license numbers...

The last I read, there was nothing illegal about getting a massage!

Calloway, it seems your drive-through idea is a winner.... Maybe you could share locations with Hortons... a rub, a tug and a mug.... :p

It's got nothing to do with legality in Guelph. It's all about politics. Local politicians are pressuring the police to "do something" about the massage parlours. Several local Wellington/Guelph politicans have outright called it prostitution and have vowed to get rid of them totally. It may be a grey area in the law, but it's all about pressure on clients. No clients = no money = no massage parlours.

And imagine if the Mercury takes pictures of someone entering and leaving to go along with the story. I wouldn't want that to be me...

Instead of Drive thru's why not vending machines that will give you head. We could put a few girls on differant shifts and just put them in the machin Might be hard on her knee's after 6 or 7 hours though. Plus cold in the winter.......unless we can locate them in the malls.
Could be called " head-o-matic "
