MONTREAL — Officials at McGill University are investigating after pictures of lewd parties on campus graced four pages of a Montreal newspaper.
The pictures of co-eds stripping and removing each other's clothes were taken at parties organized by the marketing students association.
University spokeswoman Jennifer Robinson said the university doesn't condone such behaviour on campus.
She says officials will be investigating but pointed out that no complaints were made by students and it appears no safety or security issues arose.
Last October, the university cancelled the last two games of the McGill Redmen football season after an 18-year-old team rookie came forward with allegations he was sexually assaulted with a broomstick during a hazing ritual.
Shortly before that, the university had the distinction of being the only Canadian school to make Playboy Magazine's 2005 list of Top 10 party schools in North America.
McGill isn't alone in the notoriety sweepstakes, however. The University of Western Ontario investigated after photos of a female student stripping for male students appeared on the Internet.
