Men and women who wear glasses...

I like my glasses,,,,they have photo grey so they darken outside, don't need sunglasses....plus they make me look inteligent,,,intteligent,,,,intelli,,,,nuts, they make me look smart.

People in glasses don't really have a control for experiments' sake. They can't go around making conversation in glasses, then take them off and stumble around blindly trying again, right?

I find that when I wear my glasses and when I'm wearing my contact lens I get totally different responses from people. It's the usual stuff: when I wear my glasses, people are more likely to read me as bookish and smart (both true and without them, more likely to read me as all body, no brain (useful at times, but not the whole me). I do prefer my glasses (less irritation) except in the bedroom, when they get in my way!
squash500 - get daily wear contacts - you just throw them out at the end of the day, so useful for people who wear glasses MOST of the time but need them for (bedroom) sports or what have you.
ebhobbs - I'll wear my glasses for you anytime. Have you seen the movie Secretary? One of my ATF films! Maggie Gyllenhall is at the top of my dream list after that one...

Funny how 20 years ago all glasses made people look geeky. Now its impressive they can make a person look hotter.

The few times I left the house without my glasses on, I've never noticed a difference in how people relate to me. But I suspect it's because I give off a "geek" look with or without my glasses on.
Personally I get a lot more attention without the glasses however I think it has more to do with the way I use my eyes than anything else. The men and women that know me frequently compliment me on my glasses and making a point of mentioning I should wear them more often. However I flirt a lot with my eyes and it's much harder to do with glasses on, the eyes convey so much more naked so for me it's definitely more attention from the general public without the 'covers' on.
