Just happened with same race gal 30 years ago. It's not the colour of your skin, its the personal between the ears that you end up loving for years and year regardless of any sort of ethnicity or skin pigmentation.

On the other hand long red hair strands in my household from her are absolutely the best dust catchers, way superior to even swiffers.
