Phillies you stink!...Colorado is a run for the ages 15 wins out of 16. The NL pennant is within their reach me thinks!
and crazy Lou, why did he yank Zambrano???

To save him for the 4th game he said.the_big_E said:Phillies you stink!...Colorado is a run for the ages 15 wins out of 16. The NL pennant is within their reach me thinks!

Uncany similarity to young Juan Guzman in terms of arm action and movement on the pitches. Hope he doesn't turn out the same way, seems to have a better head on him.the_big_E said:Carmona showed no stage fright and pitched like an ace (I have a soft spot for him considering his contributions to my fantasy team)...
Ugliest since that Ted Higuera swarm 20 years ago.PS how about the bugs
MAN-ny of the hour for sure. Nice to finally see what Sox had hoped for all season long - dangerous hitters at the 3-4-5-6 spots. I said it in my earlier post that overall pitching is going to win this series. So far that's pretty much it. Beckett was awesome and Sox bullpen was lights out not allowing any more runs after another Dice-K meltdown. Guess you can say it was a night for Manny being Manny and Dice-K being Dice-K.the_big_E said:I think that ball Manny hit is still going!
That was reminiscent of Pujols off of Lidge...ManRam DESTROYED that pitch!
All series have a 2-0 lead...
That was just plain stupid on his part. Callers and emailers from C-town on the Friday Jim Rome show were pissed. Tom Brady used to wear a Yankees hat in the Pats locker room until someone told him to ditch it.guyroch said:Are you talking about Lebron James![]()
Also, good managing by Pinella to put the hook on Zambrano early in game 1. Now he will be very well rested for Spring Training.the_big_E said:Well the NL is set...Colorado vs Arizona, who woulda thunk it?
Rockies are now an amazing 17-1 over their past 18 games.
Phillies & Cubs offense was nowhere to be found in either series...
Hold that thought - Gagne is in.shack said:Red Sox are on the verge of sweeping (up 6-0) and Yanks are down 2 games to love.
Let's see (assuming Indians win):
Winners: Cleveland, Denver, Phoenix, Boston
Eliminated: New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Philadelphia
I wonder how happy the networks/advertisers are looking at the demographics of the winners and losers. Top three markets GONE.
