Moderators & Freebies...Why Not?

I was checking out one of the other boards and they were discussing the topic of moderators receiving “Freebies” from SP’s. The general feeling was that this type of practice should not be allowed.

However the more I thought about it, the more I figured…”Why Not?”

What is the harm in having a moderator receive a freebie from a SP in exchange for a review? As a matter of fact, I do not understand why members who are well known for their unbiased reviews (Revolver, leon, fangs, etc.) have not been approached by SP’s or escort/spa owners and provided a free session in exchange for an honest review.

Why would anyone care if well-known board members were getting a freebie? If they provide a fake, shill-based review, then they are only hurting their own credibility and would lose their status as a bona-fide SP critic.

And before someone states that it would be no fair if certain people receive freebies, my advise to you is to quit your crying and shut the fuck up. Do you complain that movie critics get free tickets to previews? Do you complain that food critics get free meals?

Hmmm, maybe we need to elect some board members as SP critics. Now that would be sweet. They could even have their own weekly show. Imagine the fun they could have comparing notes about the different SP’s…

Sounds reasonable to me. Even though I'm not much on SP's maybe I can help with the production values. You know stuff that will pull in the audience week after week. And then you know what happens when the demand is high. $$$

I think it isn't a good plan. The second the girl knows the guy is a reviewer, her treatment of him can be biased. I do not believe in the woman having any idea that she is being reviewed, especially if she is a) aware of Terb and B) knows who he is. Face it, reviews should be based on the experience of a guy walking in cold and the woman just being herself with her service....

That is completely unethical and unlikely. Any provider can write her own good review if she was that determined. I doubt many if any even bother with that.

U have 2 much time on (or in) your hands.

I have had a few retail business in the past. When a cop, fireman or EMS person walks in, I usually offer them something for free. It wasn't a bribe but just my way of saying thanks for taking care of the neighbourhood. Some of them accept the offer and most of them decline but either way I have never expected any special treatment from them afterwards.

I wonder if this is the same case where an SP may want to sleep with a moderator because she is thankful of the good job that the moderators are doing.

Or maybe the SP really likes a moderator on a personal level and wants to sleep with him because of the attraction. Lets not forget that mods and SPs have feelings and friendships as well.

Either way it's none of our business what goes on between the mods and the SPs as long as the SPs don't get special treatment. If anyone is going to accuse any mods of accepting freebies, show me a thread where they are giving special treatment. I've read most of the threads where mods have given reviews and I didn't think it was a shill of anykind.

Lets look at reality for what it is and not make accusations until there is proof that something bad has happened as a result of one of the mods getting laid.

Because it's unethical. It's a sad state of affairs when people either don't understand what that means, or think it's not such a bad idea.

And then people turn around and call politicians corrupt...

If a SP/Agency knows a person is going to give a review that is "trusted", he/she is going to make sure this person get a good (non-normal) service, including B&S to a better girl or providing all the letters of the alphabet even if its not normally provided by the girl.

And what good would it do anyways except to make a mod's wallet heavier?

For a rave eye-popping review with a followup by my sockpuppets, I'd expect a thousand bucks up front. I can tone it down for a $500 one or have a basic yet pleasing 4 liner for a hundred.
The actual sex is optional.
Please PM me if interested, ladies.

That would open the door for all reviewers to get freebies.... hmmmmmm that might be bad for biz LOL And would the freebie be based on good reviews or bad ones, because I think a bad review for a freebie is bad etiquette (what do you expect it was free to begin with so YMMV) LMAO It would be like someone giving you a car... even if it is a piece of crap you should still say thank you. And last but not least, like cash up front, how would one give a freebie without the review first, what if they f*** off after and there's no review???? *scratches head and ponders*

And red I'd give you a freebie anyday LOL Well you and Xarir as he does like to slap ass, how could I ever resist? roflmao

If that was the case...

If Mods got freebies from SPs in a. appreciation or b. to get a good review or for c. any reason other than the last two that does not involve $bling bling$, then wouldn't that give enough reason to a lot of us to create review sites just to become Mods, in which case, the information available to us would get watered down drastically and we'd end up with a bunch of biased and poorly done review sites, without the true passion for the sport and the goal of being an undeniable aid to our society.
So yes, I value Terb and would find it dismaying if a bunch of poor people started creating websites to write rave reviews about SPs in order to get freebies. It is a sacrifice our Mods must make, even if they are getting freebies, not to share such information with the general audience so as to not give the poor and crooked among us any wrong ideas.
Just my thoughts on the matter.

Daniel

Free bees?

Where do you get these free bees?

I'm considering apiary as a hobby: I don't use my back yard much and I love honey. I would be interested in some free bees to start my apiary.

There seems to be a lot of tension over this original post. Does anybody actually believe that it was in the least serious? What is everybody getting all worked up about? It's just some light-heated humour because the thought is ridiculous. A woman's going to give it away for free because the client is a mod? Puh-lease! I think most of us hobbyists don't even look at mod reviews except for SB that is.
