mosquito killer ????

I have the mosquito magnet at my cottage which is similar to that model. Nothing is 100% accurate, but the way I look at it, I look at the 1000's of mosquitos in the bag that it killed and thats a few thousand less mosquitos flying around my property.
Last year they had a similar propane-powered device on sales @ Home Depot. The thing is though, you have to run the m continuously 24/7 in order to be effective. Coverage is generally circular with limited range so if you hav ea big property you need several to cover it properly. At min you're supposed to have on in the front and one out back.
Having said that, if I owned a house (I live in a condo) I would buy 2 or more. I hate mosquitos. Anything that kills those little f*ckers is a Good Thing.

West Nile is here to stay. It will always be a risk. That's part of the problem - it will never go away.

I love it when my neighbours use one at the cottage, let them "attract" the mosquitos.
Personally, I try to avoid "attracting" them by wearing lighter coloured clothing with long sleeves, avoiding dawn and dusk and using repellant.
Who in their right mind thinks an attractant is an effective repellant?

As long as they die. They are no good. Personally I think I would use an attractant that would kill them plus protectant. Keep them away from me and send them to thier death at the same time.
