Mp3 to Audio CD Conversion

Hello anyone know of any software(preferably freeware) that can be used to convert mp3 music files to audio cd (cda format) files. I looked around and the ones i find are the ones that just convert cda files to mp3 I was hoping to play music off my xbox or ps2 while using my disc player on my computer for other stuff at the same time. Peace.

I have made audio CDs (wave) files from MP3 by using nero, nero should just uncompress the mp3 files back to the original format, however the quality loss from the MP3 conversion will still be there , that information is lost in the mp3 compression.

What's lost during the original MP3 compression is gone for good. If your MP3's were compressed at higher bit rate, the final tonal quality would still be listenable. So, it all depends on your ears, and the original quality of the MP3's.

Windows Media Player that comes with Windows. It's free and offers reasonable quality on conversion.

Just select make audio cd in any burning program.

it's an impossibility. That's why MP3 is called a "lossy" compression, because some information is lost and can't be retrieved.

most software you burn with can convert to cd formate however my friends playstation plays mp3 files of of it then you can put 12 x the music per disc

Definitely! I use Nero to do this and have no problem at all with it.
