It's code for "do whatever the fuck I want to do as long as you don't blame me for what is happening on Twitter".
I'm sure he will still have the ability to come in and demand any stupid ass change he wants when catturd gets mad at him or whatever, but like his other companies, someone else will do the real work and do their best to manage Musk's nonsense so that real work can get done.
He will have a scapegoat to blame if people get too mad when things fuck up, and he won't have to pretend he knows what he is doing anymore.

Musk screwed up Twitter. No wonder that many advertisers pulled out of it as more hate speech etc started circulating on Twitter. Wonder why he did not appoint Tucker Carlson to be the new Twitter Chief instead of this "Fake News" NBC Universal Linda Yaccarino? 
Now Yaccarino has to somehow transform this Twitter to an "X" a so-called super app that would include payments, messaging and video subscriptions!!
Musk is trying to rival the Chinese WeChat which besides Messaging and Social media, has Shopping, Payments and Gaming. Obviously this was beyond Musk's own realms of ambition!!
However, she has to first fix the mess that Musk created with his firing of a huge section of the employees and now the Company has limited expertise from it's present staff!!

There's nothing to rival with WeChat when it's used in China predominantly. China is communist, that's how they track people and keep tabs on them, this is where Twitter is headed for The West.
Only Elon was the salesman to get more people onto twitter from the far right and he has and now that those people are hooked on it, it'll be hard for a lot to stop using twitter. Brilliant move to data mine people, their thoughts, beliefs, etc..

Now you have this newly injected CEO who is talking about revamping Twitter for massive revenue streams. He's getting his money back and then some, does he look like he's sweating it when he's talking to that new CEO?
