WATCH: ‘Poor’ Migrants Complain About Slow Internet, Boredom At Netherlands Camp

Migrants at the Ter Apel camp in the Netherlands have complained about feeling “bored”, having to eat bad food and not having fast enough internet.

A video posted on Live Leak shows the migrants, who many believe to be desperately poor refugees, complaining about the lack of home comforts in the camp.

One says how “breakfast is small, lunch small” with another adding how “bored” they all feel. “You can just eat, sleep, use the slow internet, it’s so bad.”

He added, in surprisingly good English: “We asked them for language courses, but they said we don’t have it now because this is an emergency camp.”

The first then complains how the authorities haven’t given him enough money to buy cigarettes.

The video concludes with them complaining about the “service”.

Ter Apel is the main centre where newly-arrived migrants must present themselves for registration.

In June, it was revealed that the Netherlands’ asylum bill had hit a record €870 million a year. The NLTimes reported at the time:

It was not immediately clear if the amounts provided to those agencies is only for their work directly related to asylum seekers, or if it is broader budget data.

Also, while some 56 million went to investigative and research services, about 26 million was earmarked for free legal representation of asylum seekers.

Dutch NGO Nidos also received 24 million euros to provide education, welfare and guardianship services to youth refugees. Another NGO, Vluchtelingenwerk, received 6.3 million euros to help with integration, reunification, and asylum service. Other organizations received 700 thousand euros.

The figures mean that each asylum seeker costs the Netherlands around €36,000.

Red - When did the Canadian armed forces accept 12 year old kids into the service? Harper's father was born in 1927, that makes him 12, maybe even 11 when the war started and either 17 or 18 by the time it ended. I think you must be Liberal with your aversion to not being truthful. You must have meant Trudeau's father who was service age eligible but preferred to stay in Montreal riding around on a motorcycle wearing a Nazi helmet and flying the Nazi flag on the back of said motorcycle.

When the Irish refugees arrived they eat food, that was provided gladly. Didn't shit any where they liked! They assimilated.

The same thing went for the Italians,Portuguese,Jews,actually all the european immigrants. Note many different religions and cultures that came decades before.
They came, they worked their asses off, put up with very little. They had to.
The Governments provided very little and the general populations were more racist and unsympathetic then.
They tried to learn English,their countrymen already here would help out somewhat and they survived and thrived.
The 2nd & 3rd generations are doing fine.
Now we have Muslim 'refugees' from Muslim countries bringing Sharia Law and Not willing to assimilate in their host countries, expecting concessions, protesting and demanding handouts.
Why would you think there might be a problem here?
If they want to come here,and we should let some in.

They were expecting that they would arrive and be fully integrated with European society and be a part of the "have" society and leave their past of "have not" society. They hear of counties with free government services like welfare and medical care but that is for the tax payers and citizens, they can not expect to be instant citizens on arrival.
