Haven't been since they built the glass floored walkway that extends out over the canyon.
That's on a Reservation about an hour+ south of the main park site. I haven't been to it either but its supposed to be pretty freaky.

The fact that it never even crossed your mind that you can reciprocate, and be as generous as a guest as your host is with you, really doesn't surprise me. I mean, I view that as fundamental to the notion of treating someone as a friend, but I guess you just go through life assuming the only way to do things is to take without giving back.
And you say that all these people you've mooched from have come to Canada just to have the favor returned????... YEAH RIGHT!!!! LMAO

The freaky part is the bus that you must take from the souvenir shop (where you drop off the car) to the Skywalk.

Fast, fast drive by an older Indian along the edge of the canyon with no barrier. The Skywalk is a breeze after that.

Going back you are a little, just a little less stressed since you are on the right side of the road (not by the edge).

IF you had two neurons to rub together you might be able to figure out what it means to be as generous with your host as they are with you.

The road to Hana on the Island of Maui. Numerous pools, waterfalls and insanely beautiful wild flowers along with incredible views of the Pacific on this snaky little road along the coast.

This coming from someone who believes that a persons body size (obesity) is totally by choice, not considering genetics, medical issues, environmental factors, sleep disorders, chemical exposure, etc. really doesn't mean much. Obviously it is not me who is lacking in the neuron department here!

I'd like to refer the readers here of this post to a thread that our Fuji started a while back which basically stated that HE BELIEVED that a person's obesity was totally arbitrary and that he did not consider the factors that I've mentioned above to be of any consequence in a person's body size. Like I said I'd like to refer the readers here to this thread but it mysteriously disappeared when the water got a bit too hot for his liking!

He's the type that likes to shake his finger in other people's faces BEFORE looking in a mirror first!

I won't be posting anything further about Fuji as it's just getting to be a waste of my time. AND out of respect for CC who started this thread I don't want to hijack it by posting "comebacks" to Fuji's ill conceived pot shots at me.

The mods deleted that thread not me, I think because some people started getting out of line on it.

Anyway I stand by my view: If you are fat it's because you eat too much and don't exercise enough. Period.

I am guessing you are fat, and that's why this upsets you. Get your ass to the gym and cut down on the the big macs with the supersize fries and coke.

You could spend weeks touring the Queensland Oz and not get bored. It really is supernatural.

I visited NYC a good many years ago. Went up the Empire State building. Walked around the base of the twin towers. Spent some time in Teanack/Hackensack area.
Rode the subway.

I didn't like NYC one bit. Too many buildings, too much cement and pavement, too many people all in a hurry.

I prefer scenery, mountains, hiking trails, and ocean vista's. I don't know why anyone would visit NYC.
some of us like people?
