A couple things come to mind.

1. Never hobby where you work. Am I the only guy who is wondering why she would solicit you where you work (assuming of course that "discount" implies that she is an SP.) I would be very embarassed if a woman I worked with supposedly in a professional environment seemed to be able to tell that I partake in the hobby. I find this most unusual.

2. It's highly inappropriate of her to solicit at work.

3. There is nothing illegal about dating a coworker, in fact, correct me if I am wrong Perry, but constitutionally, companies can not dictate who you can associate with on your own time. My company does not have a policy against office dating, unless one person is the other person's superior. In fact, there have been a couple of marriages at my place of work. (How, I'll never know.)

Interesting thread. Temp at work and the potential she's a working girl.

Lots of legalities to consider as many Terb Brothern have expressed.

Find out how long her contract is for from HR.

Show some interest, take her to lunch, dinner etc...but make no mention of her offer until her contract is up.

You can skirt around any questions etc she brings up...

Just get past her temporary employment date, then you're not in a position for her to claim any harassment.

Just make sure HR doesn't extend her contract.

It is a but odd tho for a woman to solicit employees while working as a temp.

If you're looking to advance in the company...ignore her and take the issue to a VP and alert them to a potential claim.

If he keeps the emails she doesn't have a leg to stand on legally.

If she makes it known that he paid her for sex, while it may hurt his rep at the company, it also will ruin HER rep which will follow her around for the rest of her life. Correct me if I'm wrong but don't the majority of SP's keep the biz part of their life secret?

For eg: she won't be able to use her agency record on any future resumes and this will cause a void in her employment record which any employer will find suspect.

It might take you a long time to find out what exactly is the motive...it could be something incredibly simple...maybe a one-of fantasy a whim on her part even...extremely doubtful. Take a pass for now. Tell the gal you are 'extremely' interested, and she can think of that as a 'yes', only later, the job rules. You can date her when she is no longer contracted by the firm...if you do otherwise you are a fool.

One offered a discount of 2 free dances if I got 10. What's the big deal Joey? OP: She is a temp and a tease...which are often the same thing, especially when combined in a 20 something attractive female. If you want to pay to fuck her, that is your choice to make, but don't be so damn desperate to put your job at risk doing it.

She ain't going out of business, and she don't "like you"...so just cool your jets...she'll gladly take your money 4 weeks from now. Until, then...tease her back, but keep your cool...attractive women can't stand it when a man doesn't make an ass of himself over them. I t is not a harassment issue. It is an undue influence issue. If you are flying a desk you should no better. Never ever dip into the secretarial or temp pool. Some one in a lateral job maybe. But never ever dip.

This does not apply if your job and life is meaningless. In that case, who cares?

Gotta agree that I've never met any SPs or MPAs that go around giving discounts prior to say becoming a regular..... and even then that's not a guarantee.

I find these temp stories perplexing in that why not flirt until their term is up?

I'd say just have fun with the flirting because the rest is too much of a risk. There's a whole forum dedicated to SPs are you telling me she is sooooo hot that none on terb can compare? This is your job, hot girls come and go.

Thanks for all the comments and help. After having the evening to think about it with a cool head, I will do as some had suggested in this thread. Continue flirting, maybe go out for a drink, but do not engage with any physical activity until her contract is over. I will keep the emails (just in case), but I won't use it against her (unless she accuses me of something) as I think she's pretty sweet.

Its simply not worth it to risk my job. She is extremely hot, but its still not worth it. I just hope I have enough will-power to get through the next four weeks. "Think of grandma.......baseball........Rosie O'Donnell........."

No worries there, I have a personal laptop that I take with me everywhere. I use my wireless connection and log onto TERB from there. I never use my work PC, even though this company is very relaxed when using the PC's for personal use.

yea. i can see that a sincere reply was definitely in order here. the story is just so credible. that is exactly what a very pretty young girl in a professional office setting would do. a temp who no doubt is more than willing to put her reputation and job at risk. of course she'd then send pictures as well via email. anyone who knows anything about anything at all knows that women do not operate in that manner. this board is really starting to resemble a suckers fish tank. all you need to do to solicit a response is to drop a hook.

An update............

I knew it was too good to be true! She was fired Friday afternoon. I emailed a friend of mine in HR today to find out why she left work early on Friday and why she wasn't in today. She told me that the girl was soliciting special favours to the male staff. I have to give her credit, she has some "big balls" to try something like this. My friend told me there's going to be an investigation into this matter, that's when I told her about the email that was sent to me (as I'm sure they would find out sooner or later).

Didn't she think that she would eventually be caught? The whole situation leaves a sour taste in my mouth and I don't think I'll try contacting her anymore, espically since I'm strapped for cash right now anyway.
