I would prefer Hannity not campaign for Trump. However, it's more a style point rather than a point of principle.

Hannity showing bias for Trump on his show is no different than Maddow showing obvious bias towards Harris. It's expected that they are not objective news anchors. It's kind of like watching Kamala Harris on The View. You could have confused it for a Harris campaign rally.

You do not see Maddow on the Harris platform like Hannity plus Pirro appearing at the Trump Rally. Presently, Tucker Carlson appears frequently in the recent Trump rallies.
Remember that Harris initially was accused by the right wing media of not appearing at any of the Debates or interviews on all the TV Channels as well as taking the reporters questions. Now suddenly this same right wing media are complaining about how Trump did not get the invitation to be on same SNL show. However that skit of her on SNL gained more than 31 million views. It was a very watchable show!!

Tucker Carlson represents himself not a news network. His podcast is strictly a partisan political undertaking. That's his prerogative if he thinks that is good for his brand. He's now no different from other partisan political podcasts.

It's odd that when we are discussing the figurative use of the word shot/shoot these are the incidents you present.

Unfortunately, the only recent political shootings I can think of are Trump and Congressmen Steve Scalise. If we go a little farther back, there is Congresswoman Gabby Giffords.

The people that control immigration policy and use the media to call you racist when you complain that migrants are overrunning your neighbourhood are the same people that won't tolerate any migrants in their own neighbourhood.

It will be interesting to see how the Latino vote comes in today. Many Latinos are not happy with the influx of migrants into their communities.
