Anyone here follow the natural gas prices and have any insights on where the pricing is likely to go?

I had subscribed to Toronto Hydro for gas at 17.7 cents / m3, but stupidly only for one year. (I had no real experience with the whole shop around for natural gas.

They wanted my to renew but at 24 anc change and i just figured i would go variable until such time as the prices came down. The switch back to enbridge is now costing me 33 cents or so / m3.

Now the gas providers all want 29 to 31 cents / m3 and typically want you to sign up for a 3 year contract.

It looks like i must now hope for a warm winter or something to drive prices down.

Na, this is for real.

I need cheap natural gas this winter and it doesn't look like i am going to find it any time soon.

I pray we have another winter where it's like +14 in February.

Be opportunistic. The stocks of nat gas producers have not priced in the kinds of pricing you're seeing. Get long the producers, and use some of the gains to pay your bills.

Flooey!
Any recommendations???

Here's a tip for you....

LXX on the TSE (expect price to go to $2.30.)
