Damn! There is that damn TSN 2 again. Thanks for the info. I like the good old days when the major bowl games were on one of the 5 mainstream channels.
I feel ya buddy. I was pretty pissed off when I couldn't find the Toledo vs Air Force slugfest anywhere on any channel. Not exactly a major bowl, but it was the only bowl being played at the time.

Watched a bit of the BBVA Bowl, whatever that is, and I get the idea they were tight on a budget. It was embarrassing. Only half dozen cameras, no field level commentators, and remote play by play announcers from some studio away from the stadium. I've seen better coverage at the Vanier Cup.

For those who care, SMU (8-5) beat Pitt (6-7) 28-6

Yeah, even the Rose Bowl wasn't on broadcast. The networks have decided that as far as football, everything revolves around the NFL.

I finally saw my first bowl game this season ---- the U.S. Army All American Bowl. Barry Sanders Senior attended as a spectator to watch Barry Sanders Junior play. Barry Sanders Senior is the personification of integrity. He retired prematurely rather than break Walter Payton's rushing record.
