I recently bought a gateway laptop whch lo and beyond got a crashed hard drive just after the 90 days warranty. The laptop was a refurbished model W350I and I re-installed Windows Vista on it as I could not get to any of the recovery software on the crashed drive (Not start enough to do recovery disks).
Anyways, the PC runs fine in all aspects except the mouse which randomly continues scrolling after I stop making it difficult to move over to click any buttons in the web brower.
I remember the original Windows vista had a system tray icon for the mouse but I can not find any software as I have no clue what type of mouse driver I need.
I went to the gateway site but they had no model number W350I that I could select to download software.
Anyone know a utility I can use to detect the type of Mouse is installed in the laptop so I can find the proper driver on the net for it?
