Anyone watching?
10 episodes total (the last 2 are still being edited during this whole quarantine)

The first two are available now on Netflix and were shown last night on ESPN.
It's so good, and so nostalgic.

I loved every second of it. Can't wait for the rest of the series. MJ is a rock star, a rap god, and the GOAT.

yeah, it's kind of weird because Netflix shows the rest of the episodes, but yu can't watch them yet. First two were really good though.

The opening two hours of ESPN's docuseries The Last Dance, which chronicles Jordan's career, fame and legacy while focusing on the 1997-98 NBA season, averaged 6.1 million viewers Sunday on ESPN and ESPN2. The two episodes are the most-watched ever for ESPN documentary content — and in a sports-starved landscape, outdrew nearly every live NBA game this season.
I cry with joy knowing how fortunate I was to be able to have watched his greatness live. Such supreme graceful creative dominant athleticism. You watched every game knowing that you would never see anything like him ever again.

For these words to come out of Larry Bird's mouth, "That wasn't Michael Jordan. That was God dressed up like Michael Jordan"

Watching episode 3 now. THANKS!

Nobody talks about how even that young Bulls team could very well have beaten the 'Bad Boy' Pistons to win that championship if they hadn't continuously physically assaulted Jordan. Every Piston would have fouled out or been thrown out of the game in today's league. We forget how much violence was acceptable in basketball back then, and that was a decade AFTER the nearly fatal punch that changed the league forever: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jCsQomYfCzw

Probably the best sports documentary I've seen. With all the talks about comparing him to Kobe and Lebron all these years...it reminded me why both Kobe and Lebron pale in comparison to Michael...He really was the greatest player that ever graced the NBA...among the best players...

I'm sure we will learn more with episodes 3-8, but Jerry Krause is set up as the fall guy. I don't remember all the details about why this team wasn't allowed to defend their championship until they lost it on the court. Sure Phil, Scottie and Michael, didn't like Jerry, but money seems to have been a divisive issue during their run. Krause's Tim Floyd (college coach) infatuation is certainly bizarre at best. However, it all seems to come back to money. Show me your appreciation with money!!

I've got to give a lot of this blame to Jerry Reinsdorf. Jerry Krause was his employee and answered to him. Reinsdorf also obviously signed off on the big money issues and could have opened up his wallet if he was interested in keeping the unit happy.

Binged on it yesterday. Can't wait for the last two episodes. Thus far, very well done. Jordan has nothing to apologize for. He made everyone around him better. They knew it and that's why they all respect him, to this day, even though he drove a hard bargain. He never asked of them things that he didn't ask of himself. To see Jordan choke up and get teary eyed about this was heart breaking. You are the GREATEST for a reason; because you're a winner and a purist at winning.

"The Alpha of Alphas" after showing up Magic and Bird....! After that game they accepted that a new Sheriff was in town by the name MJ.

I was always happy that MJ didn't take political stances during his career, and instead supported any causes he wanted to behind closed doors. His role was to focus on being the BEST at his craft, and become successful doing it. And he did. No need to get sidetracked in politics... you can never win with people in that arena anyway... you're either on the wrong side of an issue or you're not supporting some cause forcefully enough. Forget that circus.

Babe Ruth had the original All-American sport of baseball as his springboard. He was a killer.
Muhammad Ali was a spectacular boxer but became just as famous in social lore for his politics.

MJ became bigger than both for mastery on the court ALONE and the marketing around his superhuman skills. That's all that matters. Everything else is noise.

Wow. That’s awesome. I could barely sit through episode 3. The timer and the ESPN logo got too annoying. I’ll wait and pace myself.

I enjoyed the first 2 episodes and will wait for the next two to be released by Netflicks tomorrow. Something nostalgic about waiting to see next week's episodes, brings back a simpler time.

I'm guessing it was an observation on how we all are used to streaming on demand and binge watching. Sometimes I will just ignore a new Netflix, HBO or Amazon Prime season until it's all released simply so I can watch the season in a few consecutive nights.
